Pahalgam terror attack: It is Islamic Terrorism which we hesitate or desist to call it

The need to openly recognise Islamic Terrorism as the root cause of violence in Kashmir and beyond, urging the government to take decisive action. It criticises the hesitation to address Terrorism by its true identity, stressing the importance of a clear and unwavering approach to combating it

The protests-candle marches-bandh-slogan shouting against Islamic-Terrorism throughout Kashmir valley after the Pahalgam tragedy seemed all orchestrated, planned, abrupt and organised. Everything was just ready to be executed, but only after the gory massacre of Hindus.

The protesters (the so-called mourners) couldn’t hide their smiling and laughing faces during the so-called protests.

I am reminded of the 19-20 January 2025 night of 1990 when people came onto the streets abruptly and raised slogans against the Pandit community, asking them to leave Kashmir or get converted.

This time, it was another face of the same formula, which can befool anyone and everyone but not the past victims of the Islamic Terrorism in J&K. We thoroughly know these tantrums have the potential to deviate focus from the main subject.

We hope the governments at the Centre & in the state don’t get sentimental by these theatrics and focus on the identification of these Islamic terrorists who were directly involved, their accomplices on the scene of the tragedy, their facilitators behind the scenes who provided them food, shelter and other help.

Thanks to the Cabinet Committee on Security Affairs for making bold decisions regarding Pakistan. They will surely hit Pakistan diplomatically and also on the ground, but they are not enough. More stringent steps need to be taken.

My dear government of India, it is time to change the gears. Don’t buy the biggest joke of the world that ‘terrorism has no religion’; it has. This is Islamic-Terrorism, unless we recognise it like that, our fight against it can’t yield the desired results. Pl go for an all-out operation against it, the whole nation will support you.

Terrorism will continue in one or the other fashion because, for Pakistan, it is a perpetual low-cost game that is being fought on someone else’s ground. They aren’t going to stop it. We need to be determined to fight to the finish, but while fighting this huge battle, we need not be led by any confusion. It is Islamic Terrorism that we have been fighting in one form or another for the last hundreds of years. Only the formats have changed.

This time, the nation has been hit differently, and our souls are bleeding. We don’t need to be swept away by the deceptive strategy, overtures and statements of our enemies within and outside the country. It is Islamic Terrorism aimed at completing the unfinished task of the division of 1947. It will change faces to make us believe it doesn’t exist the way we believe it exists. That is part of the grand strategy that we need to know.

Narratives and the Right and Correct Narratives have a great value in modern affairs. Call a spade a spade.

In every expression, call it Islamic Terrorism without hesitation or hiccups. We will move far ahead in our war against the declared and undeclared enemies of the nation. That is my humble request to you, my dear government of India.
