ISI sets up The Four Brothers’ Alliance in Bangladesh, plans to use Rohingyas against Bharat

The ISI has already started to meddle in Bangladesh and the Muhammad Yunus regime has none other than itself to blame. As the days pass by Dhaka’s descent into chaos continues and soon it would be nation that none would want to touch with a barge pole

Arakan Rohingya Salvation Army (ARSA), Rohingya Solidarity Organisation (RSO), Islami Mahaz, Arakan National Defence Force (ANDF), and the Arakan Rohingya Army (ARA) have come together to form the Four Brothers’ Alliance, which could be a new security nightmare for the security agencies especially in the northeastern states.

The alliance also known as The Rohingya Army met at Cox Bazar to announce the grouping which was witnessed by a huge gathering of refugees. These outfits which operated individually held a series of brainstorming sessions backed by the ISI, before which they decided to come together and form the alliance.

ISI’s new game

The moves being made by Pakistan’s spy agency following the ouster of Sheikh Hasina in Bangladesh are being closely monitored. The ISI senses a great opportunity to operate from Bangladesh since there is a friendly regime in place.

While the Jihadi elements are on board already, the ISI felt it would be prudent to bring the four Rohingya forces together with a sole intention of causing unrest in the region, especially in the northeastern states.

The ISI realises that there is a potential for this grouping to operate in the northeastern region since there is already an influx of Rohingya Muslims. These could come in handy whoever this grouping wants to undertake some major operation in the region.

The ISI did realise that each of these groups were operating individually. Getting to form a grouping and fight the battle together was something that would make them even more lethal, the ISI felt. The Pakistan spy agency seems to have succeeded in its mission of setting up the Four Brothers’ Alliance.

The ISI however did not act alone in this venture. There were a chunk of insiders of the Bangladesh government who helped the ISI to set up this alliance. The fact that the Bangladeshis too backed the formation clearly suggests that their target is Bharat and not any other region.

During the gathering held at Cox Bazar on December 25 2024, it was decided that the alliance would try and regain territory in Myanmar. The idea is to fight the Arakan Army, an ethnic group which has compelled thousands of Rohingya to leave.

Bangladesh’s DGFI has also been giving ample support to these groups especially the RSO. The decision to support the RSO was taken in a bid to counter the ARSA. However with the ISI stepping in all these groups have decided to keep their differences at bay and fight unitedly. The ISI has frequently deployed trainers from the Lashkar-e-Tayiba and Jamaat-ul-Mujahideen Bangladesh to train these Rohingya groups. A couple of years, when the Rohingya crisis broke out in a big way, it was Lashkar-e-Tayiba chief Hafiz Saeed who had openly proclaimed support for these people. He urged them to join them and fight.

More chaos in the offing

The Muhammad Yunus government has been more than willing to welcome the Pakistanis into Bangladesh. The recent meeting of the top brass with officials of the ISI is only a signal of what is coming.

These developments have led experts to believe that Bangladesh is going the Taliban way. It would become a more oppressed nation and women would face the same fate as they are in Afghanistan. For instance, the 2024 edition of the Amar Bangla Boi had a chapter which showed both boys and girls sharing household chores. The 2025 edition gives all these tasks to women.

Bangladesh which is already battling a losing battle due to the extreme rise of radical Islam is getting set for another headache and that is in the form of the Rohingyas. Yunus and his men have a single point agenda and that is to destroy Bharat and this led them to inviting the ISI over.

Counterterrorism officials tell Organiser that in the days to come not only will Bangladesh have to deal with the Islamic terrorists, but the Rohingyas as well. The December 25 meeting of The Four Brothers’ Alliance which had the blessings of the ISI is a clear signal that they have been given a free hand and can operate without any fear from Bangladesh. With an economic crisis already looming large and no signs of peace returning, the games that the ISI is playing could well soon signal an endgame for Bangladesh.
