NEW DELHI: Risheek Kumar Sharma was honoured with the esteemed Pradhan Mantri Rashtriya Bal Puraskar 2025 by the President of India, Droupadi Murmu at a grand ceremony held at Rashtrapati Bhawan.

Risheek, hailing from Smailpur, the native village of the prominent nationalist leader Pandit Prem Nath Dogra in Jammu and Kashmir, brought pride to his home state by receiving this prestigious award.

This distinguished national award celebrates Risheek Kumar Sharma’s exceptional accomplishments in the field of Science and Technology, alongside his unwavering dedication, perseverance, and contributions to innovation. At such a young age, Risheek has demonstrated remarkable talent and leadership, inspiring his peers and earning widespread admiration for his pioneering work that is shaping the future of the nation.
