Khalistan movement is no longer about a separate nation, it is about tarnishing Bharat’s image and being anti-Hindu

The decision by a court in Canada to order an injection against protests being held outside Hindu Temples is a sign that the Canadian government has failed in its duty. The failure to provide security and turning a blind eye is a sign of how badly the Trudeau government has failed

It is becoming increasingly evident that the pro-Khalistan elements sheltered in Canada are going beyond their original demand and that is the creation of a separate Khalistan state to be carved out of Punjab in Bharat.

Today the demand for Khalistan echoes very softly in the protests and violence that these elements are undertaking. Take a look at the recent protests. They have been against the Hindus, Bharat and Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

On Sunday the Khalistanis were seen protesting outside the Lakshmi Narayan Temple in Scarborough. At the time of the protest, the Consulate General of India in Toronto was organising a Life Certificate Camp.

This shows that there was a clear attempt to derail the camp. The certificates issued during this camp are vital documents needed for disbursement of pension from the Indian government.

Targeting the pension camps

Such pension camps have been targeted in the past as well as a result of which they had to be cancelled. The Khalistanis have deliberately targeted these camps so that the old and needy are put to great inconvenience.

The Consulate General of India has faced immense difficulty in organising these camps are the Khalistani elements pose a huge security risk.

During Sunday’s protest, the Khalistani elements gathered outside the camp and raised slogans, waved flags and used sound systems to intimidate the attendees. Those who attend these camps comprise elderly pensioners which include Hindus, Sikhs, Muslims and Christians. While in the past they would attend these camps peacefully today they face hostility thanks to such intimidation.

A larger conspiracy

The protests against the simple reverse remittance-money that is being earned by Indian pensioners being sent to Canada is part of a larger conspiracy. Deliberate attempts are made to target these camps so that the elderly people stay away from them.

Reports in the Canadian media said that this could be a larger conspiracy by China and Pakistan and the Khalistani elements are being used for the same.

During the event the protesters even heard raising ‘kill Modi’ slogans. Questions such as who killed Nijjar were also raised. Hardeep Singh Nijjar a Khalistan terrorist was killed in Canada following which baseless allegations were made by the Justin Trudeau government that the Indian government had a hand in this.

The recent developments are a clear sign that the Khalistan elements have gone past their demand of seeking a separate nation. In fact their target these days are the Indian government, Narendra Modi and the Hindus. This is a clear sign that there is a larger hand at play and these elements are being provoked to raise such issues.

They know fully well that their movement is gaining no traction in Bharat and hence they have upped anti-Bharat activities abroad and Canada has provided a safe ground for them.

Officials in India say that it is clear that countries such as China and Pakistan which cannot digest Bharat’s growth are using such elements to disrupt peace and tranquility. These recent spate of attacks are clearly being done at the behest of the ISI, which has for long been the backbone of the Khalistan movement. Otherwise one fails to understand why these elements have diverted from their original demand and made this all about an anti-Hindu, anti-Bharat movement, a senior official tells Organiser.

Khalistan has spiralled out of control

In Canada it is becoming a nightmare for the Indian living there. At first they were insulted with slogans such as ‘Hindus go back,’ Now their Temples are under attack. The Hindu Temples in Brampton and Surrey had come under attack. With the Canadian government stating clearly that they are unable to provide security to the Temples, the Superior Court of Justice had to step in.

The court had granted an injunction prohibiting protests within 100 metres of the Lakshmi Narayan Mandir Hindu Cultural Centre. Violators may face removal or arrest the court had said.

With the Temples being out of bounds for these Khalistanis, they have now started targeting pension camps. The problem that the Indian consulates are facing is that they have been told clearly that security cannot be provided. With these Khalistan elements targeting these camps, one such camp to be held in Oakville had to be cancelled citing insufficient security from Canadian authorities.

Many other camps had to be relocated or entirely cancelled owing to security issues. This had led the Indian Consulate in Toronto to say that even minimum security guarantees are not being provided, thus making it unsafe for attendees and organisers.
