The construction of the grand Ram Mandir in Ayodhya has been completed. However, the process of building Mandirs in Uttar Pradesh is ongoing. The construction of a huge Mandir (Chandrodaya Mandir) is going on at a fast pace in Mathura, the birthplace of Bhagwan Krishna. This Mandir will be counted among the tallest Mandirs in the world. This Mandir will also be a centre of attraction for tourists coming to Mathura. It is being said that this Mandir will compete with Burj Khalifa.
The construction of Chandrodaya Mandir in Vrindavan is being done by ISKCON i.e. International Society for Krishna Consciousness. On November 16, 2014, then-President Pranab Mukherjee laid its foundation stone. The Mandir will have approximately 166 floors, which is not there in any Mandir in the world.
700 feet of splendour
It is also said that the height of Vrindavan Chandrodaya Mandir will be around 700 feet, which is 3 times more than the 72.5 meter Qutub Minar in Delhi. This is why when the Mandir is completed, it will be counted among the tallest Mandirs in the world. The depth of its foundation is also three times more than the world’s tallest building, Burj Khalifa.
166-floor pyramid-shaped Mandir with earthquake-proof engineering
This Mandir, which has 166 floors, will be pyramid-like in shape. The highest floor of the Mandir has been named Braj Mandal Darshan. Twelve forests described in Shrimad Bhagwat and other scriptures have been created around the Mandir. The construction work of this Mandir is being done at a cost of more than Rs 700 crore. The speciality of this Mandir is that it will be able to withstand an earthquake of 8 Richter scale.
70 acres of grandeur
While building the Mandir, special care is being taken that even a storm of 170 km per hour cannot shake the Mandir. This Mandir is spread over 70 acres. This includes car parking and a helipad. If someone visits the entire Mandir, it can take three to four days. There are 511 pillars in the entire Mandir. The weight of the entire Mandir on these will be 5 lakh tonnes.
This Mandir will be the most modern Mandir to date in which 4D technology is being used. Apart from this, a library will also be built in the Mandir to learn about the life of Bhagwan Krishna. A Krishna theme park has also been built here. In which light and sound show will be done. Ten thousand devotees can gather together in the Mandir.
