The inauguration of Karyakarta Vikas Varg Dvitiya (Vishesh) of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) was held at Maharishi Vyas Auditorium at Dr Hedgewar Smriti Bhavan, Reshimbagh. On this occasion, Sah Sarkaryavahs of RSS Dr Krishnagopal Ji, Mukund Ji and Ramdutt Ji were present. Additionally, Akhil Bharatiya Sah Seva Pramukh and Varg Palak, Rajkumar Ji Matale, and Jodhpur Prant Sanghchalak and Sarvadhikari Hardayal Verma Ji were also present. They offered floral tributes to the statue of Bharat Mata.

A total of 868 shiksharthi above the age of 40 from across the country are participating in the Varg. The Varg will run for the next 25 days and will conclude on December 12. In the Varg, training will be imparted on social awareness and social transformation.

After the inauguration ceremony, Rajkumar Ji Matale addressed the shiksharthis who came from all over the country. He stated that this Vishesh Varg, which is being held on the sacred land of Dr Hedgewar and Shri Guru Ji is historic. “According to the new structure of the Sangh Shiksha Varg, this Vishesh Varg is being organised for the first time. The Varg instills a sense of national unity and coexistence. Training Vargs in the Sangh system are extremely important. As the work progressed, training Vargs were started in various provinces”, he said.

“The RSS was established in 1925, and the training Varg began in 1927, where 17 shiksharthi received training. Except for the period of the Emergency and the Corona era, Vargs have been held annually. Over time, the duration and curriculum of the Vargs have been updated in line with contemporary needs. In today’s context, the Varg presents clarity of ideology, role, work methodology, commitment of the worker, how to face challenges, and how to bring positive change in society”, he said.

“The Sangh work that was started by Adya Sarsanghchalak Dr Keshav Baliram Hedgewar from the Mohite Shakha has now spread nationwide. As per Swami Vivekananda’s saying, any sacred and genuine work first receives neglect, mockery, opposition, and then acceptance. Similarly, in the initial phase, the Sangh work faced neglection. Today, the Sangh work has gained widespread acceptance. Even those who publicly oppose the Sangh work now privately praise it”, he further said.

“To execute the panch partivartan of social awakening, there should be enhanced capability and readiness so that the work of nation-building gains momentum”, he said.

The officials of RSS Karyakarta Vikas Varg Dvitiya (Vishesh) are: Sarvadhikari – Ma. Hardayal Verma Ji, Varg Karyavah – Mansukh Lal Sethia Ji, Varg Palak – Rajkumar Matale Ji.
