RAIPUR: In a horrifying news surfaced from Kondagaon of Chhattisgarh, a tribal girl has alleged a youth identified as Firoz for raping and torturing her while forcibly keeping her in captivity in Dharavi area of Mumbai in Maharashtra.

According to the reports floating in the media, the victim girl a resident of Makdi police station of Kondagaon allegedly came in touch with the youth after the latter called him on her mobile phone a couple of years ago.

The accused Firoz continued harassing the victim girl by calling her from separate unknown numbers and even threatened her in person when she was in a hospital in Kondagaon. The girl has also alleged Firoz for forcibly taking her to Dharavi in Maharashtra where she was kept in captivity in a window-less small room for a year and a half.

During captivity, the accused Firoz used to rape her daily along committing atrocities on her. He even used to tie her with cloths before venturing outside for his job. He was reportedly employed in a garment factory. The girl was kept without food for days and her phone was also snatched by the accused who reportedly texted the victims family that the girl has fallen in love with him and doing fine.

The victim girl found an opportunity to walk out from Firoz’s captivity a day when the latter forget to carry his mobile phone at the room after which the girl contacted the factory’s owner and narrated her heart-rendering ordeal. The girl was subsequently set free after the intervention of the factory’s owner and returned to Kondagaon where she lodged a complaint against the accused Firoz.

According to the details, the accused Firoz also put in chemicals in the victim girl’s private part causing burnt injuries to her. Following the complaint, the police launched a manhunt to nab the accused, leading to his arrest from Sultanpur of Uttar Pradesh on the basis of his mobile locations on November 11.

The accused has been reportedly produced before a court on Wednesday, November 13 from where he has been sent to custody. The incident has sent shockwaves across the region, unveiling the freighting mentality of the criminals involved in committing such heinous act. The case is further being investigated by the police.
