Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) welcomes the decision of the Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission (UPPSC) to hold the UP PCS preliminary examination in a single day, as was the case earlier. Along with this, ABVP also demands the swift resolution of issues related to the RO/ARO exams and calls for their early conduct. ABVP activists are standing in solidarity with the candidates who have been raising concerns about the fairness and transparency of these exams.

It is notable that ABVP had previously urged the UPPSC to address the candidates’ concerns about the upcoming competitive exams, including issues of transparency and fairness, through positive dialogue. Several candidates had expressed concerns and staged protests, which led the Commission to take the decision to hold the UP PCS (Prelims) exam in a single day, considering the unique nature of the exam. This decision is commendable and marks a victory for the candidates. ABVP has always believed that dialogue is the only way to resolve issues and concerns.

Abhay Pratap Singh, State Secretary of ABVP Kashi, stated that ABVP welcomes the decision of the UPPSC to hold the UP PCS preliminary examination in a single day, keeping in mind the candidates’ concerns. This decision is a victory for the candidates. The Commission, after engaging in dialogue with the candidates, has made this decision in their favor. This was a necessary step to maintain the integrity and uniqueness of the exam. Now, candidates can prepare for the exam without any worries. ABVP is hopeful that the RO/ARO exam will also be conducted soon, ensuring fairness and transparency.
