“Everyone should remain cautious of the forces trying to destabilise the country and mislead the youth,” said V Shantha Kumari, Pramukh Sanchalika of the Rashtriya Sevika Samiti, at the Vijayadashami utsav of the Rashtriya Sevika Samiti, Nagpur, on October 4.

She stressed that the rise in crimes against women and inhumane treatment with them must be addressed at both individual and societal levels.

She also urged for the implementation of stringent laws and faster judicial processes, emphasising the need for societal awakening.

Shantha kumari Ji pointed out that due to ideological confusion, people have forgotten the fundamental philosophy of “Hindavah Sodhrah Sarve” (All Hindus are brothers). Today, entangled in the chains of caste, community, faith, and creed, people are undermining their vast cultural essence. She emphasised the necessity of bringing core Hindu thought into action.

Denouncing the rape of a woman doctor in West Bengal at RG Kar medical as inhumane, Shantha kumari ji stated that despite having a woman as the Chief Minister in the state, such barbaric incidents bring shame and anger. “It is necessary to amend the law so that swift action can be taken in such cases. Even after 30 years, when criminals remain unpunished for their crimes, their tendency to commit crimes increases. Along with strengthening law and order, we must also empower ourselves for self-defense. A system must be established to teach self-defense techniques”, she said.

While addressing the gathering, she also mentioned topics such as Swadeshi, Kutumb Prabodhan, atrocities against Hindus in Bangladesh, Navratri Jagran, and the environment. Referring to Navratri Jagran, she said that, “based on wisdom and strategy, Ashin Wirathu (Buddhist monk) defended Myanmar. Today, we need such religious warriors”.

Renowned classical dancer and Padma Vibhushan awardee Sonal Mansingh, the chief guest at the event, said, “Women endowed with extraordinary power must realize their inner strength and come forward for the rise of a new India.”

“From ancient times, with women like Lopamudra, Kapala, Gargi, and Katyayani, to the present, with the women who made India’s Mars Mission a success, their contribution to India’s development is incomparable. Nowhere else in the world are women revered as goddesses, but in India, they are. This is India’s strength. However, their journey today is not easy. To make it easier, every woman must become strong, and for that, it is essential for them to recognise the power within herself”, she said.

Bhaiyyaji Joshi, Akhil Bharatiya Karyakarini Sadasya of RSS, Sita Gayatri Annadanam, Pramukh Karyavahika of the Rashtriya Sevika Samiti, Manisha Athavale, Vidarbha Prant Karyavahika, Karuna Sathe, Nagpur Division Karyavahika, and several other notable dignitaries were also present at the event.
