The discovery of the body of RSS Narela Jila Karyavah, Jitendra Kumar Bhardwaj, in Delhi’s Narela area under suspicious circumstances has raised concerns. While his family suspects foul play, the police are treating it as a possible accident. Delhi police have initiated an investigation, with multiple teams assigned to the case.
The incident came to light when Bhardwaj’s body was found on Monday morning in the Bhorgarh area. He had left home on Sunday evening to attend an important RSS meeting, but his phone was switched off around 7:48 PM, and there was no further communication. His family filed a missing person report at the Narela police station, prompting a search. By morning, his mutilated body was discovered near a railway track. The police recovered his head and parts of his body during the investigation.
The family has raised several serious concerns. Notably, an Aadhar card belonging to a Muslim man from Kupwara district, Jammu and Kashmir, was found 100 meters from the location of Bhardwaj’s body, along with his license. Part of the body was hidden under bushes.
Authorities reported that Bhardwaj had been tied with a blue scarf, and attempts had been made to conceal his body in the bushes. The police are examining all possible angles of the case.
After conducting a postmortem, the police handed the body over to the family. While police suspect the incident might have been an accident, the family strongly rejects this, insisting it was a murder. Considering their concerns, the police are now exploring all aspects of the case, with several teams assigned to the investigation.
