Bangladeshi Hindus: The victims of partition

Hinduism stands for peaceful coexistence; this is the reason why people of other faiths have flourished in Bharat. However, consolidation of Islam has led to persecution of Sanatanis, conversion and temple destruction both in the past and even now as witnessed in Bangladesh

The writing of human misery, killings, massacres, loot, abduction and rape was all their on the wall in bold and black letters, particularly after August 16, 1946, when the fanatic Jinnah had “celebrated” the Direct Action Day unleashing his Muslim guards to attack the Hindus. And after that it became an ongoing process repeating the massacres and brutalities that had been perpetuated on the Hindus and Sikhs since Mir Qasim’s invasion of Sindh. The genocides of Hindus over almost 1,200 years have no parallel in the history of the world even if compared to the Jews genocides. Have they stopped in today’s world which claims to be civilised, democratic, protector of minorities and champion of human rights? No! On the contrary, the terror unleashed by Islamic fanatics has increased manifold while the liberals, anarchists and human rights activists console themselves and preach that terrorism has no religion in spite of every act of terror being committed raising religious slogans.

The major sufferers of these brutal acts have been the Hindus whose declining population in Pakistan, Bangladesh and Afghanistan is a brutal fact as shown below:

Why Muslims Are Flourishing?

Compare these figures with the increasing Muslim population in Bharat from three crore in 1951 to 20 crore (may be more) in the present times. This speaks volume of how Muslims flourish in Bharat. Can anyone give any data on how many Muslims left Bharat because of brutalities on them in the last 70 years? Has anyone even left in the last 10 years? Yet, the Muslims shout along with the power lusty politicians that they are not safe in Bharat. Can anyone show how many Muslim refugees from Bharat have gone to Pakistan and Bangladesh since 1948 and compared it with the Hindus and Sikhs, who have been consistently escaping from the brutalities in Pakistan, East-Pakistan and now Bangladesh since 1948? All know this reality. Yet, we have four monkeys today: One, who can’t see the brutalities of Hindus and Sikhs, second who can’t hear this, third who can’t speak about them and the fourth who can’t write about them- our Opposition parties are the best examples. Why? Because if these brutalities are talked about then this will take away their Muslim vote bank whom they have been appeasing and fooling for long.

Victimising Hindus, Appeasing Muslims

What precautions were taken by the Prime Minister Jawaharlal Nehru who was busy celebrating Dominion as Independence? This champion of Swadeshi had invited Mountbatten to be the first Governor General of the Dominion. And this Governor General had clearly stated that British troops were not to be used to stop communal violence. Not only this, when the Sikhs in Punjab started mobilising, he had issued a stern warning telling the Maharaja of Patiala and Sardar Baldev Singh to warn the Sikhs that if they fight against the Muslim League they will be fighting the British Indian Army. But the Muslim guards, more than five lakh, were not to be fought. When the tortured Hindu and Sikh refugees were pouring into Bharat, Nehru was busy telling Muslims not to go. Then why Partition had been accepted on the basis of Hindu and Muslim? The British records clearly state that they had created a Hindu Dominion and an Islamic Dominion because of Jinnah’s demand to avoid the “sufferings” of Muslims in a Hindu Raj. But Nehru even led the Muslim League Constituent Assembly members to keep drafting the Constitution of Bharat. The houses of those Muslims who had left were kept safe for them by Nehru if they wanted to return at a later date. He even warned the Hindus at Bhagalpur from being bombed by the Air Force if they continued to retaliate against the Noakhali killings. He even ignored the C.I.D. reports in the early 1950s of the slogans Lad Ke Liya Hai Pakistan, Has Ke Lenge Hindustan being raised in some mosques.

Declining Hindu Population

Was this fact brought out that the Dalits, who wanted to come to Bharat, were kept at gunpoint by the fanatics in Pakistan telling them that “if you leave who will do the scavenging for us”. They were kept there forcibly and since then they are being forced to convert, their girls are abducted, raped and forcibly married or killed. This is done to the Sikhs also but the Khalistanis are blind to it. This clearly demonstrates the declining population of Hindus and Sikhs in Pakistan. What the Taliban did in Afghanistan to Hindus and Sikhs after takeover is well known.

Thousands people holding posters turn up in large numbers to take part in a protest organised by ‘Nari Shakti Forum’ from Mandi House to Jantar Mantar against the violence being committed against Hindu minorities in Bangladesh, in New Delhi on August 16

How come people have forgotten Jogendranath Mandal, the great champion of Dalits who believed in Dalit-Muslim harmony in Pakistan and accepted to be the Law Minister of Pakistan? Then why did he run away and resigned in October 1950? One only has to read his 15-page resignation letter where he lists the atrocities being committed in East-Pakistan on Hindus and Dalits. Besides highlighting them, he wrote, “In that grand setting of the Shariat, Muslims alone are rulers while Hindus and other minorities are zimmies who are entitled to protection at price…. The bulk of the upper class Hindus and politically conscious Scheduled Castes have left East Bengal. Those Hindus who will continue to stay accursed in Pakistan will, I am afraid, by gradual stages and in a planned manner be either converted to Islam or completely exterminated”. It was now only that Jogendranath Mandal realized that Jinnah was “an exponent of a doctrine fraught with so great a danger to humanity and subversive of all principles of equality and good sense”. Not only Jinnah but all the subsequent regimes till date have the same brut psyche. But now in Bharat some again talk of Dalit-Muslim unity forgetting the past and even what is being done to Dalit Hindus in Pakistan?

‘Ensure safety of Hindus’

RSS expresses serious concern over the incidents of violence against Hindus, Buddhists and other minority communities in Bangladesh during the movement for regime change in the last few days.

Cruelty like targeted killings, looting, arson and heinous crimes against women belonging to Hindu and other religious minorities and attacks on Hindu Mandirs in Bangladesh are intolerable. RSS strongly condemns this. We expect the interim Government of Bangladesh to take strict action to immediately stop such incidents. Also, the Government must make proper arrangements to protect the lives, property, and honour of the victims.

As a friendly neighbour, the Government of Bharat is trying to play an able role in this situation in Bangladesh. RSS urges the Government to make every effort to ensure the safety of Hindus, Buddhists, etc. in Bangladesh.
— Dattatreya Hosabale, Sarkaryavah, RSS

What is happening in Bangladesh today would have been the fate of all Hindus of Bengal had Syama Prasad Mookerjee, whom the Congress leaves no stone unturned to abuse, not raised the issue of Hindus and asked for Partition of Bengal. But how long the Hindus are safe in the West-Bengal of today is another concern which I may deal with another time. Had Hindus been fanatics then Pakistan would never have come into existence. And again Bangladesh would not have come into existence but would have been taken over by Hindus after liberating East-Pakistan from the clutches of Pakistan. General Tikka Khan had shamelessly declared that “he will change the race of Bengalis”. It is clear now that though General Tikka Khan failed at that time in spite of raping so many Bengali Muslim women, the ISI succeeded in changing the psyche of Bengali Muslims not only as fanatics but anti-Hindu as now the brutalities of Hindus in Bangladesh prove it. With Afghanistan gone, Pakistan gone, Bangladesh gone every day, the areas under Hindus have shrunk and today Hindus are like orphans even in Bharat facing not only fanatic terrorists but those too who raise the slogans of Sar Tan Se Juda and kill or carry a Jihad in various forms. When it will realize that fanatic Islam is a psyche that has been breeding and going strong since the 8th century. What these fanatics are doing in England, France and other European countries is known to all with the “religion of peace” being totally exposed as to what it stands for. Can those who blame Hindu organizations in Bharat answer why the fanatics are aggressively active in European countries where there are no Hindu organizations? Name me a single country or region where Islam was established without any use of sword, without any forceful conversions, without destroying the places of worship of others so that I can improve my knowledge of this religion of peace and its expansion. The map which ISIS has drawn for the Islamic rule in Asia has to be looked upon. From West Asia till Indonesia there are only five countries Bharat, Nepal, Bhutan, Burma and Thailand that are now left to be under the Islamic rule. Name me a single country where the followers of Islam have entered as refugees or “peaceful migrants” and then after being welcomed and established not demanded the Sharia laws?

New Awakening of Sanatanis

Ironically, the Sanatan has preached universal brotherhood, respect for all, flourishing of all religions and wishes prosperity and tranquility for all. Bharat has given refuge to all those persecuted on the basis of religion world over. This Bhartiya philosophy of peaceful co-existence has only experienced in return massacres, rapes, abductions, destruction of temples and plunder. The liberalism, spirituality and urge for peaceful and harmonious living preached by Hinduism with all has been considered as a weakness by the brutes to establish their fanatic rule in all parts of the world. The atrocities being done on Hindus in many other countries, particularly in the Caribbean, are not even reported but watched away by their Governments as law and order problems. Even Hindu organisations have failed to notice this trend where the Hindus are being forced out after selling their businesses or properties or the Hindu women being raped and abducted.
