Gujarat: ABVP’s central working committee meeting concludes in Surat

Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad’s one-day central working committee meeting concluded in Surat, Gujarat. The meeting commenced with the lightening of lamps in front of the pictures of Mata Saraswati and Swami Vivekananda by ABVP National President Dr Rajsharan Shahi, National General Secretary Yagyawalkya Shukla and National Organising Secretary Ashish Chauhan, followed by a collective singing of Vande Mataram by the representatives. Central working committee members of ABVP took an oath during the course of the meeting to contribute towards the preservation of the environment and adopt an environment-friendly lifestyle on the occasion of ‘ World Environment Day’, which is celebrated on June 5 worldwide. This Central working committee meeting of ABVP was held prior to the in National Executive council meeting of ABVP.

It is to be noted that the National Executive Council meeting of ABVP is being organised in Surat, Gujarat, from June 7 to June 9, 2024, in which representatives from all the states of Bharat will participate. Extensive discussions on various topics like education, environment, and contemporary issues will take place, after which deliberations will take place on the upcoming nationwide action plan of ABVP. Public Reception Event will be organised by ABVP on the evening of June 6, 2024, in which renowned actor Manoj Joshi will participate as the Chief Guest. Distinguished citizens of Surat will also take part in the event.

In the inaugural session of the Central working committee, the National President of ABVP, Dr Rajsharan Shahi, said, “Bharatiya democracy is constantly strengthening and becoming prosperous with time and showing a positive direction to the whole world. Bharat is the mother of democracy, and the active participation of Bharatiya citizens in this democratic setup has developed a positive environment in the country. Modern Bharat’s strength, which include the spirit of brotherhood and prime values like equality have always been the base of this nation since ancient times, which constantly needs to be developed further. We need to make constant efforts to imbibe the democratic values in the common lifestyle of the general public. ‘Self’ and ‘Self- realisation’ based arrangements in the country need to be constantly promoted and we need to make sustained efforts in bringing Bharatiya values based changes in various fields.”

Akhil Bhartiya Vidyarthi Parishad’s National General Secretary, Yagyawalkya Shukla, said, “At the present time, Bharat is in its golden era, and Bharat is constantly moving ahead in various fields to achieve its goals. Vidyarthi Parishad has played a crucial role in solving the inherent problems by performing various creative and movement based activities in different educational institutes of the country. ABVP has made constant efforts to bring a revolutionary change in the youth by its various events and movements in important fields like education, environment, entrepreneurship and sports. Bharat’s growing strength is continuously preparing it to become a leader of the world.”
