Kerala: Narratives of anti-national forces are a threat to the nation,” says RSS Pracharak J Nandakumar

J Nandakumar, Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh Pracharak and national coordinator of RSS-inspired Prajna Pravah, said in Aluva, near Kochi, that the activities, of anti-national forces, designed to disintegrate the country, are growing in Bharat. Left intellectuals do get the support of international conspirators. They propagate ideologies that can poison the new generation and adversely affect the entire sector of national life. These ideological toxifications were launched by invading forces.

J. Nandakumr was speaking on the occasion of the release function of ‘Hindutwam Puthiya Kalam’, a Malayalam translation of ‘Hindutwa for the  Changing Times’ authored by himself.  Nandakumar said that he was pleased to see that the book has been translated into his mother tongue, Malayalam, even though it has been four years since the original version in English was released. He mentioned that until April 2024, 2.5 lakhs copies have been sold out; most of the buyers were youths. He opined that perhaps the title of the book might have attracted the buyers.

The author referred to the All Religious Conference, which took place in Aluva 100 years ago with the blessings of Sree Narayana Gurudev. Gurudev had said that he stood for ‘not to argue and win, but, to know and let others know’. At this context, he referred to the great Rig Ved verse ‘Ekam Sad Vipraa: Bahudhaa Vadanthi’ meaning ‘there is only one truth (or true being) and learned persons call it by many names’. Hindutwa is a process, not a product, nor a fixed revelation, but an ever-growing tradition. Several currents joined it. It still grows; it is like Brahma.

Nandakumar said that, in Bharat, some always need duality. They do not want to see unity in the country.  A prominent Left nonagenarian historian was asked by a journalist: “What is India after 25 years?”. Pat came her reply: “I don’t know which India you refer to. Political India put together with military force ? There will be 25 Indias after 25 years”.  He related this statement with the slogans raised in Jawarlal Nehru University (JNU) in 2016:  “Bharat Tere Tukde Honge, Insha Allah, Insha Allah”.  The ‘tukede tukde gang’ would not agree with Dr. B.R Ambedkar, who said in 1916, addressing a seminar in Columbia University, his alma mater, that Bharat is one. He had said that Bhaat is not geographical unity, but a cultural unity which was spread from one end to another.

Prajna Pravah Coordinator said that ‘some people’ feel humiliated in being called a Hindu. ‘One of them’ once said, ‘Call me an ass, but, don’t call me a Hindu’. His son said later, ‘I am a Hindu by accident’. He says, he does not reveal the names of those prominent ones as he does not want to be dragged into political controversies. The term ’Hinduism’ is an oxymoron. Because, Hinduism can never be an ‘ism’. It implies a closed book. Being Hindu is a continuous process.

Brahmachari Narayana Rishi, of Aluva Advaithashramam, released the book by presenting the first copy to CA. P.E.B Menon, former Pranth Sanghachalak of  RSS, Kerala. E.N. Nadakumar chaired. K.R. Chandrasekharan introduced the book before the august audience. A.T. Santoshkumar, P.V. Asokan, E.N. Anil and Dr. Mekha Joby spoke on the occasion.
