During a speech at an election rally in Faridpur on May 3, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath strongly condemned cow slaughter, warning of dire consequences for anyone considering it. Yogi Adityanath slammed the Congress party for mentioning in its manifesto that minorities will have the right to eat anything that they want to, and such an act will result in increasing cow slaughter.

Yogi Adityanath stated that they will not become party to such inhuman activities and added that they worship cows as a mother. Therefore, they will not allow cow slaughter to take place. Moreover, he stated that the Hindus worship cow and slaughtering it results in hurting their sentiments. This reflects his strong dedication to safeguarding the revered cow, a commitment deeply rooted in India’s cultural and religious heritage.

Yogi Adityanath delivered a powerful message regarding cow slaughter, firmly stating, “Cow slaughter in Uttar Pradesh is a distant thing, and if anyone even thinks about it, the doors of hell will already open for him.”

In his address, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath also directed fervent criticism towards the Samajwadi Party (SP) and Congress, emphasising his administration’s firm stance against any threat to cultural and religious values.

CM Yogi Adityanath came down heavily at the opposition party for posing all kinds of hindrances with regards to the construction of Ram Mandir and Ayodhya and the Kashi Vishwanath corridor in Varanasi.

Yogi Adityanath took Samajwadi Party head on by asking them if they will create similar hindrances and raise objections as his Government has an action plan ready for building the temple for Bhagwan Krishna on a grand scale in Mathura. Bhagwan Krishna belong to Yadav clan.

He said that, “after Ayodhya and Kashi Vishwanath, we have an action plan for Kanhaiya regarding Mathura. Ask SP, will they be able to cooperate?

CM Yogi Adityanath made a scathing attack at the Congress Party for questioning the existence of Bhagwan Ram and for threatening that no one can ever built the Ram Mandir in Ayodhya. He also said that the Samajwadi Party used to curb the freedom of speech by stating that those who will raise Jai Shri Ram slogans, they will be put behind bars.

Yogi Adityanath said that post-2014, when PM Narendra Modi came to power, the complete picture changed, and we can see a cultural revival of Bharat. Also Bharat is treading on the path of development.

Slamming the Congress party for its divisive policy, Adityanath said that in order to create a divide among people of different religions and castes, Congress is proposing reservations based on religion, and they are pressing for a caste-based survey also.

He added that history shows that reservations based on religion have led to partition in the past. Questioning the intention of the Congress-Samajwadi Party alliance, Yogi Adityanath asked if they wanted to divide the country.

Highlighting the Congress manifesto, Yogi Adityanath said that in order to appease the Muslims, they want to give reservation to them by taking it away from Backward Classes and Scheduled Castes.

To implement Taliban rule in the country by introducing reservations on the basis of religion. The Congress is trying to re-impose the inheritance tax, which is similar to the jizya tax that was imposed on Hindus during the reign of Mughal Emperor Aurangzeb. He added that it was a conspiracy by the SP-Congress alliance to subvert the existing reservation for backward classes and drag India into slavery,

Uttar Pradesh is gearing up for another round of voting as the third phase of the ongoing general elections approaches. Scheduled for May 7, this phase will see ten Lok Sabha constituencies heading to the polls. These include Sambhal, Hathras, Agra, Fatehpur Sikri, Firozabad, Mainpuri, Etah, Badaun, Bareilly, and Aonla.
