The National Testing Agency (NTA) released the CSIR NET 2024 June Registration Notification on May 1, 2024. NTA has also started the application process for the same along with the official notification. Interested candidates can apply online through the official website till May 21, 2024.
The CSIR NET 2024 June Notification contains the important details of the exam, including the detailed application process, eligibility criteria, admit card, exam dates, exam pattern, syllabus, etc. According to the schedule released, you will be able to submit your application fees till May 23, 2024. The CSIR NET 2024 Application Form Correction Window will be open from May 25-27, 2024. The CSIR NET 2024 June exam is scheduled to be conducted on June 25, 26 & 27, 2024.

To apply for the CSIR NET 2024 June exam, you must have a degree in BTech/BE/BPharma/MBBS/BS (four years)/Integrated BS-MS/MSc with a minimum of 55 per cent marks for General (UR)/General-EWS and OBC (50 per cent for SC/ST, Third gender and PwD). For candidates interested in JRF recruitment, you must be a maximum of 28 years of age. There is no upper age limit for candidates interested in the post of Lectureship (LS)/ Assistant Professor.

Step 1- Visit the official website – csirnet.nta.ac.in
Step 2- Click on the application form button
Step 3- Click on the new registration button
Step 4- Read the instructions and click on the checkbox given at the bottom of the page
Step 5- Click on Click Here to Proceed button
Step 6- Fill in all details asked in the CSIR NET registration form and Click on Submit
Step 7- Note down the system-generated application number and password
Step 8- Login to the registered account using the application number and password
Step 9- Fill in all details asked in the CSIR NET application form
Step 10- Upload scanned images of photo and signature in JPG format as per the prescribed specifications
Step 11- Download and print the CSIR NET confirmation page
In CSIR NET December 2023 session, 2,19,146 applied for the exam out of which 1,75,355 appeared. CSIR organises Joint CSIR UGC National Eligibility Test to determine the eligibility of candidates for Junior Research Fellowship and Lectureship. It is conducted for all the branches of Science – Chemical Sciences, Earth, Atmospheric, Ocean and Planetary Sciences, Life Sciences, Mathematical Sciences, and Physical Sciences.
