Padmashree Shobhana’s presence on the dais added joy and elegance to Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s election campaign in Kattakkada, Attingal parliamentary constituency in Thiruvananthapuram on April 15. Shobhana, mega cine artist, Padmashree laureate, and one of the most sought-after classical dance performers, read ‘Modi’s Guarantees’ one by one from the dais, with the Prime Minister as the listener. She said Modi will be the ‘Captain’ in the third innings also. The entire mammoth crowd applauded on hearing every guarantee.

Shobhana started to read the list after telling the August assembly that she was going to read some of the Modi Guarantees:

1) Five lakh youths will get skill development. Youths who pass Plus two will get jobs
2) Fishermen in Thiruvananthapuram cannot go to work due to sea erosion. A sea wall will be built there
3) Health Tourism will be developed in Thiruvananthapuram, which will pave the way for cheaper medical treatment
4) IT Park based in Nyyatinkara
5) A scheme for bringing drinking water to all houses will be implemented
6) Home for all homeless
7) Own bank accounts for women. Money will be transferred to the accounts direct

She appealed to the voters to vote for Rajeev Chandrasekhar, K Surendran, V Muraleedharan, Suresh Gopi, and other NDA candidates. She added that even though the crowd had waited for the Prime Minister for several hours, their efforts would not be in vain.

Shobhana told on the occasion that Kerala has a peculiarity: The majority of the people are intelligent and educated. All are, to a great extent, capable of solving their own problems. A good number of Keralites go abroad and work there. They send their earnings home. This is one of the methods Keralites apply to solve their issues without bothering the Government.

The Padma laureate said that as a Keralite, she ardently hopes that all Kerala’s benefits and achievements should be available to our country. She said this in support of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. PM Modi is a leader who makes all impossible things very much possible.

The arrival of Shobhana has made a big difference among the women voters in Kerala. They are in favour of the BJP and the Prime Minister. On January 3, she shared the dais with the Prime Minister in connection with a large Mahila Samgamam” organised by Bharatiya Mahila Morcha in Thrissur. It was a talk of the State.
