APSET exam date 2024 announced, admit card to be out on April 19; check schedule here

APSET 2024 will be held on April 28, and the admit card will be released on April 19, 2024. Check the exam pattern, syllabus and important dates here!

Andhra University has announced the AP SET Exam Dates 2024. As per the schedule, the AP SET 2024 will be held on April 28, 2024. The AP SET 2024 admit card will be available to download from the official website of Andhra University on April 19, 2024.

The last date to apply online for AP SET 2024 is April 5, 2024, with a late fee of INR 5,000/- + Registration Fee. Once released, you can download APSET Admit Card 2024 from the official website i.e. apset.net.in by entering your login credentials.

The AP SET Selection Process 2024 includes a Written Exam (Paper I and Paper II) and Document Verification. Paper 1 of the written exam is compulsory for all registered candidates and paper 2 will cover the subject selected during the application process. Those who clear the written test will be called for the final document verification process.

The AP SET 2024 Paper 1 will be held for a duration of 60 minutes covering a total of 50 multiple-choice questions, each carrying 2 marks. There will be no negative marking for incorrect answers. For Paper 2, candidates have to answer 100 questions in 120 minutes carrying 2 marks each. Both examinations will be held offline at various exam centres across the State.

The APSET Syllabus for paper 1 will cover questions from Teaching aptitude, Research Aptitude, Comprehension, Logical Reasoning, Data Interpretation, Information and Communication, People, Development and Environment and Higher Education System subjects. Paper 2 will cover questions from subjects like History, Commerce, Economics, English, Geography, Political Science, Life Sciences, Philosophy and Sociology, etc.

The Andhra Pradesh State Eligibility Test is conducted as a State eligibility test by Andhra University, Visakhapatnam, to recruit assistant professors in the colleges/universities of Andhra Pradesh. Candidates who are selected as APSET-qualified assistant professors can expect a minimum salary of INR 2,61,500 to the highest salary of INR 9,50,000 per annum.
