In a gut-wrenching and utterly incomprehensible turn of events, the heart of Uttar Pradesh’s Badaun was shattered by the cruel actions of two Islamists. Two innocent school-going children, fell victim to a senseless dispute that ended in the most horrific manner imaginable. Not only were their tender lives mercilessly taken away by the hands of Sajid and Javed, but the depths of their depravity knew no bounds as they drank the blood of their young victims, as whispered among the horrified locals.

Bathed in the crimson aftermath of their barbaric act, they fled the scene, only to meet a tragic fate as one of them fell victim to a deadly crossfire with the police.

This harrowing incident unfolded on March 19, 2024, in the Badaun district of Uttar Pradesh, where the lives of two innocent Hindu children were brutally snuffed out by the accused, Sajid and Javed, who callously slit their throats. Another child, left grievously wounded with severe injuries to the neck, now fights for his life under the care of hospital staff.

Following the tragic murders, Hindu organisation members and the bereaved relatives gathered at the police station in protest. According to the victims’ family, the accused, Sajid and Javed, slit the throats of the deceased children and even went as far as drinking their blood after the heinous act.

Sajid and Javed, who operated a salon, found themselves embroiled in this horrifying incident. Sajid met his demise in a police encounter post the murders. To ensure order, a substantial deployment of police and paramilitary personnel has been stationed at the site.

This appalling event unfolded in the Civil Lines area of Badaun. Vinod’s family resides on the third floor of a residence in Baba Colony. Vinod, employed as a water tank contractor in Ghazipur, along with his wife who worked in a beauty parlour, were absent during the incident. Their three children, however, were present at home when Javed arrived at 6 pm on March 19. Under the guise of offering them food, he lured the children into a room where he mercilessly slit their throats with a razor.

The deceased children are identified as 14-year-old Ayush and 6-year-old Honey. Javed attempted to harm the third child but failed, as the child managed to escape and seek help. This child is currently receiving medical treatment. As the children’s cries echoed, bystanders rushed to the scene, prompting Javed and Sajid to flee.

The family alleges that Sajid not only committed these horrific acts but also indulged in drinking the children’s blood. The Inspector General of the Range has assured a thorough investigation into these allegations.
