Doctorji provided a fundamental outline of Sangh’s beliefs and helped many leaders continue their divine work. Shri Guruji explained its significance most clearly. Extensive study, deep thinking, and spiritual elevation, combined with the Guru’s grace, selfless devotion to the Motherland, boundless love for the people, unparalleled ability to win over individuals, and other outstanding qualities enabled him to not only strengthen the organisation everywhere but also provide mature intellectual guidance to the country in every field.

Golwalkar Guruji created and disseminated the RSS’s ideological framework, Hindutva. Hindutva promotes Hindus’ cultural and national identity while also promoting Hindu interests in the sociopolitical sphere. Guruji’s works and speeches helped to define and popularise the Hindutva philosophy.

Golwalkar Guruji underlined the need for social and cultural reforms in Hindu Society. He argued for the abolition of caste-based discrimination, the promotion of Hindu unity, and the preservation of Hindu values and traditions. He also worked on various social concerns, including education, women’s empowerment, and rural development. Because of his inspiring personality at the helm, several affiliates, such as Vidyarthi Parishad, Bharatiya Mazdoor Sangh, Vishwa Hindu Parishad, and Bharatiya Vanavasi Kalyan Ashram, to name a few, began to sprout one after another, as more and more volunteers, imbued with Sangh ideology and organisational skill, began to translate them in respective fields of their interest. Guruji served as a source of inspiration and guidance in these matters.

Travelling nonstop over the country, he provided a great impetus to the organisation everywhere. Moving from place to place, he gathered individual after individual, spreading the Sangh network throughout the country. Because of his close touch with regular people and elites throughout Bharat, he constantly had his finger on the nation’s pulse. As a result, he had many forebodings about future events, which he used to warn Society and rulers about. In the early fifties, when the Government appointed a three-man commission in pursuance of its earlier commitment to the reorganisation of states on a linguistic basis, Guruji was the lone voice for having a unitary form of government, which alone, he felt, could strengthen the integrity of the then-nascent republic. After many years, the realisation has dawned that the Government’s experiment was disastrous.

About the turmoil in the North-East states, around the same time, he warned the powers-that-be about the nefarious activities of Christian missionaries, advising them to deal with them firmly; however, the advice fell on deaf ears, and the country is now paying a high price. In the mid-fifties, when our political leaders were flirting with ‘Hindi Chini Bhai Bhai’ excitement, Guruji was honest in publicly telling them not to be misled by hollow words but to defend our frontiers.

In the event of a temporary disaster, he led numerous committees and encouraged people to participate in relief efforts. He never allowed personal wants to touch him. As a result, Shri Guruji’s intellectual guidance has had a far-reaching and lasting impact on national life. Thousands of people who gained the blessings of nationalism and a positive outlook on life from him are still active throughout the country.

Guruji’s one reply to all the issues in Bharat

Regardless of political or other denominations, Hindus stand shoulder to shoulder as one national entity from the Himalayas to Kanyakumari and Dwaraka to Manipur. In that case, everyone living in this country will learn to respect the Mother and the national entity. Keeping their faiths intact, they can contribute to our wonderful nation.

Golwalkar Guruji’s message encourages Hindus to demolish Adharma and build Dharmarajya by focusing their attention and strength on achieving victory over bad forces. We are to judge every behaviour, good or ill, against this touchstone of the eventual victory of the forces of dharma. That which leads to the victory of the noble and righteous is the only good and worthy. The examples and lessons of the victorious and great will inspire us with the necessary will to win and awaken in us the proper discrimination to achieve ultimate victory in the path of dharmasthapana, i.e., establishing righteousness all over the world, which has been our national life-mission for centuries.

His fundamental and constructive thoughts on Bharatiya nationhood, the nation’s fate, and the best path for its revival in modern times have become the country’s great intellectual legacy.

Shri Guruji’s life was distinct and akin to a sage’s. From a spiritual standpoint, he was a great Yogi, but as a devotee of God as manifested in Society, this great man lived among ordinary people and cared for them like a mother. On the one hand, he enjoyed seclusion and had a detached mind, yet he was also extremely involved in national affairs. Overall, he had a wonderful demeanour.

Last message to Hindus: Reach the goal at any cost.

Today, disintegrating forces work in our country, and foreign countries are waiting to capitalise on the turmoil. Foreign forces were involved in the Assam language struggle several years ago. Now it appears that a foreign influence is behind the spread of misleading reports about Harijan persecution. Foreign powers understand that the only way to maintain their dominance in our country is to divide the Hindus. We must accept that we have not been as effective as envisaged in integrating the community and instilling a strong sense of patriotism. As a result, we must be more aware of our responsibilities, consider all elements of our work, and put ourselves fully behind the wheel shortly, determined to achieve the goal at whatever cost.

Salute to this great patriot, tall leader and spiritual master.
