“When I entered the premises of Ram Mandir, it felt as if I had entered heaven. The construction of Ram Mandir is itself huge and I was fortunate that I got the chance to attend the Pran Pratishtha of Ram Lalla. From the entry of Prime Minister Narendra Modi to the shower of flower petals, it was beyond my imagination. Attending the event was a moment of lifetime achievement for me. I remember tears flowing down from my eyes after I did the darshan of our Prabhu. I do not know whether it was Prabhu Ram or the memory of my brothers, but I could not stop my tears. I do not wish for anything else now. The sacrifice of my brothers has been meaningful and with it, the biggest purpose of my life has been fulfilled. The next day evening, I took photos of both my brothers inside the Mandir and prayed to Ram Lalla. I think now I have been able to give the right tribute to my brothers. Their presence inside the Mandir, even in the form of a photo is everything I ever wanted. I kept imagining how my brothers would have felt if they had survived to see this day.” -Purnima Kothari

“The credit goes to Bhagwan Ram himself. He gave us the courage and capability to fight for it. Fortunate are those who were involved in the movement. It is huge when the Bhagwan chooses people himself. I am not able to express the feeling in words. This achievement is a result of the courage shown by the Hindu community. This is the result of the martyrdom of many. This is the result of the Hindus standing up to all the adversities. What is questionable is that we have struggled for over 500 years in order to establish our god in his own abode. However, the success we have achieved today is beyond words. Not only is the Ram Mandir being built, but it is also the re-establishment of our pride” — Sadhvi Ritambhara, founder Durga Vahini

“It’s the day of resurrection. I feel that now India is ready to lead the world…Today’s day conveys that all castes are equal…Today we witnessed India’s unity in Ayodhya. –Swami Avdheshanand, Acharya Mahamandleshwar, Juna Akhara

“Bol Siya Pati Ramchandra Ki Jai, A day filled with the relevance of divine spirit… back from the Pran Pratishtha ceremony at Ayodhya .. the glory the celebration and the belief of faith .. immersed in the reckoning of the TEMPLE at shri Ram’s birth .. not much can be said beyond this .. for faith does not possess description .. Can you .. ?” — Amitabh Bachchan, Bollywood Actor

“It was a very special experience for me, in fact this is a historic day. I want to say that the dream has been fulfilled for the entire Indian population. This is a proud moment for our culture and spiritual heritage. This will inspire the next generation. I am very happy that I was able to attend this and I would like to bring my family here.” — Sachin Tendulkar, former Indian cricketer

“I express my gratitude to all the people of the Ram Temple Trust. They sent us invitations and honored us by inviting us. When I went to Ayodhya, I received many calls warning me not to go as anything could happen to me. They said I might even have tilak on my forehead and be forced to say Jai Shri Ram there. There will be people of Hindu Sanatan Dharma, and if you go alone, they will look at you with suspicion. But, the opposite happened there. Everyone looked at me with kindness and love. No one put a tilak on my forehead, and no one forced me to say Jai Shri Ram.” — Qari Abrar Jamal, President- Jamiat Himayatul Islam

“Bhagwan Ram is arriving today. January 22 will be Ram Diwali for the entire country.” — Mukesh Ambani, Chairman and MD Reliance Industries

“We are very very fortunate to have @narendramodi as our Prime Minister. The leadership that was required to ensure this unfulfilled dream of 500 years gets fulfilled by him and the Anusthaan that he has followed for the last 11 days, wow. 22nd Jan, Just not a date but a reclaim. Ram Lalla is here and no greater joy than this, Jai Shree Ram” — Venkatesh Prasad, former Indian cricketer

“At the time of Pran Pratishtha, tears had started rolling down my eyes…This has strengthened and unified Bharat as a nation…” — Pawan Kalyan, Jana Sena Chief

“Experienced tranquility and divine peace at the banks of the Sarayu river. The river stands testimony to the history of Ayodhya and Lord Ram, blessing the people even today with her riches.” — PT USHA, Olympian, Track & Field Athlete
