In a resplendent display of devotion and generosity, millions of devotees have flocked to the newly consecrated Ram Mandir in Ayodhya, where the sacred murti of Ram Lalla has been seated since January 22. Over the course of just 11 days, an astonishing 25 lakh devotees have been blessed with the divine darshan of Ram Lalla, setting new records and reaffirming the unwavering faith of the masses.

The air is filled with an aura of spiritual fervour as pilgrims from far and wide brave the cold weather conditions of Uttar Pradesh to pay homage to Sri Ram. Despite the dense fog and bone-chilling temperatures, devotees queue up eagerly from the early hours of the morning, undeterred in their quest for darshan.

What’s more, the outpouring of devotion is matched by a remarkable surge in donations. On average, a staggering one crore rupees is being offered to Ram Lalla each day, culminating in a grand total of Rs 11 crore in offerings and donations over the span of 11 days. This financial influx underscores the deep reverence and commitment of devotees towards the construction and maintenance of the sacred Mandir.

The Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra reports that in the last 10 days alone, approximately Rs 8 crore has been collected through traditional donation boxes, while an additional Rs 3.50 crore has been received through online channels. The meticulous management of donations is evident, with four large donation boxes strategically placed near the Darshan Path, alongside 10 computerised counters for convenient offerings.

Under the vigilant gaze of CCTV cameras, Mandir trust employees diligently count and document the offerings, ensuring transparency and accountability in the handling of funds. A dedicated team comprising 11 bank employees and three temple trust staff meticulously tally the donations received, safeguarding the sanctity of each contribution.

The unwavering support of devotees, coupled with efficient administration, has enabled the temple to uphold its sacred duties amidst challenging circumstances. Despite the ongoing forecast of dense fog and the possibility of rain in the region, the stream of pilgrims shows no signs of abating, reflecting a deep-seated devotion that transcends earthly concerns.

In response to the overwhelming demand for darshan, the Mandir administration has adjusted its schedule to accommodate devotees. The adornment aarti of the idol of Ram Lalla now commences at 4:30 am, followed by morning prayers at 6:30 am, with the temple doors opening to devotees at 7 am. This revised timing ensures that pilgrims have ample opportunity to experience the divine presence of Ram Lalla, regardless of external conditions.

As the spiritual epicentre of Ayodhya continues to attract record-breaking crowds and donations, it serves as a testament to the enduring legacy of Sri Ram and the unyielding faith of his devotees. In the hallowed precincts of the Ram Mandir, the timeless saga of devotion and reverence unfolds, illuminating hearts and minds with the eternal light of divinity.
