.In a bid to foster spiritual awareness and unity within the Hindu community, HSS Netherlands has launched the “Spiritual Awakening Week” titled “#SabkeRam, #Ramforall.” This week-long campaign, starting on Makar Sankranti, January 15, 2024, and culminating on Pausha Putrada Ekadashi, January 22, 2024, aims to inform, engage, and empower individuals while seeking the supreme blessing from Bhagwan for all.
As part of the initiative, all Shakha’s, the grassroots units of HSS, are actively reaching out to at least 50 new families, mandirs, and local cultural organisations to encourage their participation in the spiritual campaign.
A range of spiritual activities has been organised to enhance the participants’ connection with the divine. These activities include the collective chanting of the Victory mantra “Sri Rām Jai Rām Jai Jai Rām” (108 times), recitation of the Hanumān Chālisā, Sundar Kānd, and Sri Rāmrakshā Stotra, as well as collective singing of Bhajan and Kirtan.
One standout feature of the campaign is the call for lighting lamps after sunset on January 22. This symbolic act is set to transform the occasion into a divine festival of lights, with countless homes, businesses, mandirs, and more participating worldwide.
Simultaneously, local Shakha teams are taking collaborative efforts to celebrate the Shri Ram Mandir Prana Pratishtha alongside various local organisations. These endeavours play a crucial role in connecting with Hindus who may not be familiar with HSS, thereby uniting the Hindu society in the Netherlands.
To streamline information about Shri Ram Mandir Prana Pratishtha celebrations, HSS Netherlands has launched a dedicated website, (https://www.nederlandviertayodhya.nl/) . The website serves as a comprehensive platform, offering details about the ongoing celebrations and additional information related to Shri Ram Mandir nirman.
In a unique and special contribution, HSS Netherlands karyakartas have unveiled specially designed stamps to commemorate the Sri Ram Janmabhoomi Mandir inauguration. Two distinct stamps have been created – one for domestic use within the Netherlands and another for international use. These stamps, adorned with symbolic elements, can be used to send letters, not only within the Netherlands but also worldwide, making them a tangible representation of the community’s joy and celebration.
Bharat Dwivedi, Desh Karyawah of HSS Netherlands, expressed his enthusiasm for the campaign, emphasising its potential to bring the Hindu community together. The events, spiritual activities, and collaborative efforts reflect not only a deep commitment to spiritual values but also a celebration of cultural identity within the Netherlands.
As the campaign gains momentum, it is anticipated that the “Spiritual Awakening Week” will leave a lasting impact, fostering a sense of unity, spirituality, and cultural pride among the Hindu community in the Netherlands.
