In a surprising turn of events, the once inseparable couple from the popular reality show ‘Bigg Boss 13,’ Asim Riaz and Himanshi Khurana, have officially announced the end of their romantic relationship.

Himanshi took to social media on December 6 to share the news, revealing that their decision to part ways was influenced by differing religious beliefs. In a heartfelt note, she acknowledged the positive moments they shared but expressed that their journey as a couple has now reached its conclusion.

The note stated, “YES, we are not together anymore. All the time we have spent together has been great, but our togetherness comes to an end now. The journey of our relationship was great, and we are moving forward in our lives. With due respect to our respective religions, we are sacrificing our love for our different religious beliefs.”

In addition to the announcement, Himanshi earnestly requested the public and fans to respect their privacy during this challenging time. “We request you to respect our privacy,” she added.

Fans of the former couple are expressing their support and understanding, while social media buzzes with discussions about the challenges that interfaith relationships often face. The split marks a significant chapter in the lives of Asim and Himanshi, who gained widespread recognition during their stint on ‘Bigg Boss 13.’

Himanshi, who belongs to a Punjabi Sikh family. On the other hand, Asim is a Muslim. He hails from Jammu. The two met during their stints in ‘Bigg Boss 13’ and soon fell in love with each other. After coming out from ‘Bigg Boss’, the duo also featured together in several love songs.

In another social media post, Himanshi wrote, “When we tried…But we could not find a solution for our life…You still love each other but luck is not supporting happily ever after…No hate only love…That’s called mature decision.”

However, Asim has not posted anything regarding the separation on social media yet.

Netizens welcomed the move calling it ‘Ghar Wapsi’ (a term often used for Hindus who leave their religion due to coercion and later return to Sanatan fold).

A user wrote, “Welcome Home You must open up on Love Jihad / Forced Conversion issue Many Hindu Girls follow you, you must aware them about this.”

Another user wrote, “Best decision of your life. All the best for your future.”

Another user on platform X wrote, “Himanshi chose not to convert into Islam. As we all know that, there is no other option except conversion in Islam.”
