Under the auspices of Global Hindu Heritage Foundation & Save Temples, a welcoming ceremony was conducted in Hanimireddy Village, Kalyandurg Mandalam, in Anantapur District, in front of Sri Veera Brahmam Temple.

All 18 Christian families– about 40 members- who belong to the Harijana community returned to Sanatana Dharma through the efforts of Gopi Chary and three other Pracharaks – Anil Kumar, Y Arjun, and Hanumanthu. Ganapati Puja, Navagraha Puja, Ganapati Homa, Navagraha Homa and Abhishekam were done to Sri Veera Brahmendra Swamy Murthy, the presiding deity of the Temple. Ultimately, they were given God’s photo, a copper vessel, Hindu saffron Bharani, and a Rama image of the flag. For their protection, bracelets were tied to their hands as a respect for their nobility to return to their mother.

Homam (Puja) being conducted as devotees gather to pray

Gopi Chary organised the Ghar Wapsi program by conducting Homa. Each family was allowed to do the Homa and other pujas. As part of the Shuddhi program, they have participated in the Ghar Wapsi program under the auspices of Global Hindu Heritage Foundation & Save Temples at Hanimireddy Palli Village, Kalyanadurg Mandal, Anantapur District.

A total of 18 families converted from Christianity to  Sanatana Dharma attended the program at Brahmendra Swamy Ashram in Hanimireddy Palli Village under the patronage of Lakshmi Narayana Swamy. All those who have become our Hindus participated in the Ghar Wapsi program by performing Ganapati Puja, Navagraha Puja, Anointing to Bhagwan Shiv, Mrutyunjaya Homa, Ganapati Homa, Navagraha Homa, the Purnahuti program with a photo of the God of their home, a copper bowl, two saffron bowls, a flag with the image of Bhagwan Ram, a Kashayam towel for the males and one for the females. He gave a jacket and tied protective bracelets on everyone’s wrist and blessed them to live proudly as Hindus.

Devotees performing puja

BJP District President Devraj Garu and Samarasita Seva Foundation Secretary Reddy conducted the Purnahuti program. There are so many good teachings about our Hindu Dharma that everyone can understand. After the message, the last Tirtha Prasadam was given, and the pooja was successfully conducted. About 450 to 500 Hindu relatives attended the event.

Gopi Swamy talked about the greatness of Hinduism, its tolerance, its Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam concert and its ahimsa philosophy. Everybody was given Teertha and prasadam. About 150 to 200 Hindu relatives participated in the program, and prasadam and annadanam were provided to all attendees. The program was very successful.

Global Hindu Heritage Foundation informed, of the consistent and persistent attempts to organise Ghar Wapsi in Anantapur District. Gopi Chary Garu and his associates visited each house, distribute flyers, and talk about the richness of Hinduism and why they should return to their original religion. They have taken all precautions required during this pandemic.

Under the guidance of Gopi Chary, three Pracharaks have been going to villages with a mission to highlight the richness of Sanatana Dharma. They are going to the Christian families and giving information about the differences between Christianity and Hinduism. They are sharing the 4-page document about the rights of Hindus and how to encounter Christian aggression.

As Louis Jaccoliot (1837-1890) says, “India of the Vedas entertained a respect for women amounting to worship; a fact which we seem little to suspect in Europe when we accuse the extreme East of having denied the dignity of woman, and of having only made her an instrument of pleasure and of passive obedience …. “What! Here is a civilisation, which you cannot deny to be older than your own, which places the woman on a level with the man and gives her an equal place in the family and society.”
