Every now and then pictures and clips of Islamists spitting on food, or doing notorious activities to hurt the religious sentiments of the followers of other religion comes out. In one such clip from Noida, a Hindu man accused the owners of an outlet of hurting his religious sentiments by putting chicken on his food intentionally.

The incident came to light on August 1 from Noida, Uttar Pradesh. In a famous rolls outlet, ‘Rolls King’ the owners of the outlet Arbaz and Iqbal intentionally put the chicken on a veg roll. The customer, a Hindu made a video, accusing the owner of hurting his religious sentiments.

The clip has been shared by multiple verified Twitter handles and has views in thousands. In this video, the man can be heard saying, this man faked his name, he said he was Rahul but his ID suggests he is Arbaz, whereas the other man was Iqbal. He accused them of intentionally putting the chicken on his food in the month of Shravan.

A verified Twitter user wrote, “The Bulla staff Arbaz and Iqbal of Rolls King, Noida, had intentionally put the chicken in a Hindu customer’s veg roll, during Savan month. And when the customer confronted the staff they were laughing because they know they have fixed their place in Jannah by doing this with Kafirs. These bulla staffs also hid their identity by introducing themselves with Hindu names at first.”

Social media users demanded action against the culprits. A user wrote, “Only confrontation won’t work, rollers on these self-proclaimed kings’ posterior is the need.” Another user wrote, “For those #Pureveg tags are casteist here is what they meant for! If any uncustomed item was served to any other community one would have seen riots just for the same.” Another user wrote, “I never understood why vegetarians visit restaurants which serve veg & non-veg both. Don’t you feel disgusted eating in the same plates where meats are being served?”

A similar incident was reported from Varanasi in July 2023 where a man was served chicken in a veg Biriyani during the holy Shravan month. A Twitter user shared a post, highlighting an incident where his friend’s family, who were visiting Varanasi during the ongoing holy Sawan month, received chicken instead of the vegetarian meal they had ordered online.

In the tweet that went viral, Ashwini Shrivastava shared videos showing chicken pieces in the paneer biryani ordered from ‘Behrouz Biryani’ via Zomato. It also had a ‘Veg’ label on the package contradicting what they actually received.

Ashwini wrote on Twitter, “My friend is in Varanasi with his family during this holy month of Sawan. He had ordered family pack Paneer veg biryani (worth Rs 1228) from the famous @BehrouzBiryani through @zomato, but they made them eat chicken biryani instead! This family never eats meat, but due to Zomato and the Varanasi’s famous ‘Behrouz Biryani’, their religious beliefs have been violated!” He also revealed that the family initially mistook the chicken for paneer wrapped in besan (gram flour), realising the mistake only after tasting it.

He added, “These people were about to leave for the temple after having their meal. Even before that, their religious beliefs have been violated due to Zomato & Behrouz. When they called the Behrouz Biryani, they were told to contact Zomato, and when they called Zomato, they were told to talk to the hotel! After all, Who is responsible for this?”

In May this year, Organiser compiled a list of cases where Muslim vendors kept Hindu names for their outlets to attract customers, later notoriously hurt religious sentiments.

A video from Khatauli which falls on the Delhi-Haridwar national highway went viral. There a group of people confronted the Dhaba owner after, they found he was a Muslim and the name of the Dhaba was “Shiva Punjabi Dhaba”.

The Hindu families were angry with the owner as he concealed his identity to win their trust.

In the said video a woman from a group of Hindus said, “On scanning the QR code a Muslim name is shown. When the name of the shop is Shiva then why is there a Muslim name for the payments? The problem is you have kept a Hindu name for the shop but you are Muslim, this is not right, why are you defaming Hindus?” asked the woman.

“Why are you keeping the name of a Hindu deity in the shop if you are a Muslim? This is not right and you should change the name of the shop” said the man behind the camera.

In Khatauli, between Delhi & Haridwar there is this Dhaba called "Shiv Punjabi Tourist Dhaba", turns out it is owned by Muslims.

These families confronted the owner after they scanned the QR code for payment & the true identity was revealed.

In Delhi’s Kishanganj market, there was a meat shop with the name ‘Ram meat shop’, it was only after the picture of the store was shared online, the banner was removed. The members of Bajrang Dal protested and made sure the name of the shop is changed.
