In a shocking incident of abuse and harassment against a minor girl, miscreants crossed all the limits. They mixed urine in her water bottle and left an ‘I Love You’ note in her bag. When the parents complained about the perpetrators to the principal, no action was taken. Following the inaction, the raged parents allegedly attacked the Islamists.

How did the truth come out?

As per the reports, the incident took place at a government school in Bhilwara’s Lahuriya village, which falls under the Mandal police station area.

On July 28, the minor went to the school but forgot her water bottle in the classroom. The next day she reached the class she found, her bottle intact and kept in the same place. Assuming no one has touched it she took a sip or two. Upon doing so, she sensed it was smelling like human urine. She complained about the same with the principal but to no avail.

The minor also found a letter in her bag which had ‘I Love You’ note in it. Then she told everything to her parents. The parents also reached out to the principal demanding action, however, they were not entertained.

The Hindu-Muslim clash

Additional Suprintent of Police told media that, following the inaction by the principal, the raged parents reached the office of the tehsildar and Luhariya police chowki demanding action.

Both Tehsildar and the Chowki in charge took no action against the principal or the boy.

But when they didn’t see any effective action, they locked the government school and took to the streets. The villagers have been demanding that the accused student be expelled from the school and the school staff should be changed as they didn’t take action in this matter.

Angered by this, the parents reached the house of the accused boy, who belongs to the Muslim community and had an argument.

Reports claim that the parents allegedly pelted stones at his house. Well, by the time police reached the spot to disperse the mob, stones were coming from all around.

As soon as the information about the incident was received, the police force reached the spot. Senior police officials including Sub-Divisional Officer Hukmi Chand Rohlaniya, and Tehsildar Madan Parmar also rushed to control the crowd.

To disperse the mob, police had to carry out lathi charge.

The videos of the violent clashes are doing rounds on the internet in which two communities can be seen throwing stones at each other and the law and order situation in the area is strained.

No complaint from the victim’s side

Police informed the media that, till now no complaint has been given to the police by the victim girl. However, based on the clips and videos, police will take action against the miscreants who launched an attack at the house of the boy.

Law and order in Rajasthan

On July 20, Organiser reported a case from Jodhpur, the home district of CM Gehlot. Here, a family of four was charred to death including an infant.

The murder shook the whole state, and there have been debates and questions on the state of law and order in the region. Many top officers and forensic teams were camping in the village, and the police arrested the accused.

The opposition Bhartiya Janata Party (BJP) has condemned and questioned the Ashok Gehlot government over the Jodhpur incident. The state BJP unit raised questions over the law and order situation in the state.

In a Twitter post, the party wrote, “If this is the state of law and order in the Chief Minister’s home district, what will be the condition elsewhere?”

Union Law Minister Arjun Ram Meghwal, a Member of Parliament from Bikaner, alleged that as many as 17 rapes and seven murders have been reported in Rajasthan daily since the Congress government came to power.

Minister sacked for questioning CM Gehlot

Notably, on July 21, the Minister of State, Rajendra Singh Gudha, was sacked by Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot for questioning his own Government at the State legislative assembly.

Days after being sacked from cabinet following his critical remarks against the Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot-led Rajasthan Government over recent incidents of crimes against women in the State, Rajendra Singh Gudha on July 23 said, “Rajasthan is number one when it comes to crime against women.”

“My fight is against the BJP. I just spoke on the incident where a 20-year-old girl died after her throat was slit in the area that comes under my Vidhan Sabha. And he (Ashok Gehlot) accused me that I am with the BJP now. I just said that we are talking about Manipur, but we must look at our State as well. Rajasthan is No. 1 when it comes to crime against women… The way he sacked me is insulting, he should have asked me to resign,” told Rajendra Singh Gudha to ANI.

Gudha said he was undeterred and would continue to speak until his heart stopped beating. “Women in our State are not safe. Rajasthan is number one in atrocities on women, the reports confirm it. The State Government has failed to provide security to women,” said Gudha, adding that he would keep speaking about the issue even if Ashok Gehlot removed him as a minister or threw him in jail.
