On 2nd July, Vigilance and Anti-Corruption wing of Assam police trapped and arrested red handed ASI Joynal Ali, of Sualkuchi Police Station. The arrested ASI was demanding bribes from the complainant for granting bail. VAC team trapped Joynal Ali with chemical coated currency and when he accepted the money as bribe from the complainant, VAC arrested him red handed with his finger prints marked in the chemical coated currencies. Necessary legal action is being taken against the accused police person.
