“Guru Granth Sahib is source of inspiration for every Hindu. I am also here to take inspiration,” said RSS Sarsanghchalak Dr Mohan Bhagwat on April 16, 2023, during his visit to Gurdwara Badi Sangat Sahib Burhanpur in Madhya Pradesh. On this occasion, he also saw Guru Granth Sahib written in gold and signed by Shri Guru Gobind Singh Ji Maharaj at Badi Sangat.

Dr Mohan Bhagwat was welcomed by the President of Gurudwara Prabandhan committee, where he stayed for forty minutes and discussed with Gyani ji about the history of Gurudwara Sahib and sacrifice of Guru Tegh Bahadur Sahib.

Notably, while addressing another event in Burhanpur, where he dedicated the samadhi of Govindnath Maharaj to the people, Dr Mohan Bhagwat said, “Missionaries convert people taking advantage of the situations wherein people feel that the society is not helping them.”

“We don’t see our own people. We don’t go to them and ask them. On the other hands, missionary from thousands of miles away comes and lives there, speaks their language, eats their food, and then converts them,” said Sarsanghchalak.

“For 100 years, people came to Bharat to change everything. They have been working here for centuries, but failed to gain anything as our roots remained strong,” said Sarsanghchalak Dr Mohan Bhagwat.
