Palakkad: Shocking revelation of Popular Front of India (PFI) plans to liquidate several RSS-BJP leaders came to light when Special Investigation Team arrested PFI activist  Sirajjuddin on September 17 in connection with the brutal murder of RSS leader Srinivasan on April 16. A list of 12 RSS-BJP leaders to be assassinated from Malappuram were seized from him. Several incriminating documents were also seized from him,  a Malappuram native.

With this, the number of arrests in this case rose to 26. He is the 36th accused in the case. Police say he had attended a planning session, one hour before the murder. It is learnt that he is also involved in the murder of another RSS leader Sanjit.

Scenes of Sanjith’s murder were recovered from his pendrive, giving credence to his role in Sanjith’s murder. He is also accused of giving shelter to many PFI activists to go hiding after criminal acts.
Police have sent look out notices against nine persons in Srinivasan murder case.
