Assam: Minor Hindu girl falls prey to love jihad, Rahim Uddin invites her to a place and gangrapes her with 3 others

The incident took place on Sunday evening in Neelambazar area of Karimganj district in Assam. The victim's body was found near India-Bangladesh border after being raped by Rahim Uddin, Nasir Uddin, Suleman Ali and Chahir Uddin.

Guwahati: In a shocking incident, a minor Hindu girl was abducted and gangraped by four Muslim boys in Neelambazar area of Karimganj district in Assam. The incident took place on Sunday evening. The mastermind of the gangraped incident Rahim Uddin, the alleged lover of the victim, called her to meet him in a place called Dalgram near the India Bangladesh border.

When the girl reached Dalgram area, Rahim Uddin and three others Nasir Uddin and Suleman Ali and Chahir Uddin kidnapped and gangraped the Hindu girl, police said on Monday.

The rapists threw the half conscious victim in the border area. Locals in the area rescued the victim and informed police and family members. A case was filed by the victim’s brother and accordingly police arrested 3 accused Rahim Uddin, Nasir Uddin and Suleman Ali.

The girl’s medical examination was done by the police and the victim has been hospitalised for further treatment. Nilambazar police station’s officer-in-charge told reporters that the girl was abducted and gang-raped. A case (130/22) under Sections 366 (kidnapping, abducting or inducing a woman to compel her for marriage) and 376D (gangrape) of the Indian Penal Code has been registered.

Locals of the Kayastha village in Karimganj district demand stern punishment of the rapists and demanded an immediate action to control the increasing incident of love jihad in the border areas.
