The Central Government has recently completed its golden eight years journey. Within these eight years, the central government has fulfilled the expectations of every section of the Nation. These bold steps of the central government have given India recognition at the global level. On the completion of eight years of the central government, Mahendra Kumar of Organiser Weekly had a discussion with Ramesh Bidhuri, Member of Parliament, South Delhi Lok Sabha on many important national issues. Highlights of the discussion:-

What do you have to say about the tenure of 8 years of the central government?

In these eight years, only the central government has not achieved achievements. The 135 Cr people of the country have also achieved many achievements. These eight years of the central government under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi are the golden years of India. The government has done many things for service, good governance, and the welfare of the poor.

In 2014, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said that our government is dedicated to the poor. During these years, the central government has stood true to this statement. The government has taken many important steps in these eight years. This is as follows, 45.21 crore Jan Dhan accounts were opened in which Rs 22.6 lakh crore went directly to the accounts of the poor, which ended corruption.

Under the Swachh Bharat Mission, 115 crore toilets were built, so that mothers and sisters got freedom from open defecation. Under the Ujjwala scheme, 9.1 crore mothers and sisters were provided with free gas cylinders and chulhas, due to which they got rid of the diseases caused by smoke. 17.9 crore people joined Ayushman Bharat and 3.28 crore poor people got the benefit. 35 crore people got Mudra loans of which 68 percent are women and more than 50 percent are SC, ST, or OBC. In COVID, 80 crore people got the benefit of free food grains for 2 years, and 80 lakh people in Delhi got the benefit of free food grains. 2.3 crore families got houses from PM Awas Yojana. Kisan Samman Nidhi of Rs 6000 per year to 11 crore small farmers in which 23 lakh crore rupees have been transferred directly to the accounts of farmers. In the e-shram card scheme, 27.63 crore laborers are associated with the unorganized sector and to improve the economic condition of the workers and workers in their old age, the Shram Yogi Maandhan Yojana, in which after 60 years, a pension of Rs 3000 per month will be given. An interest-free loan of Rs 10,000 was given to 32 lakh street vendors under the Swanidhi scheme. The tasks which seemed impossible, which were pending for many decades, have been possible under the Modi government.

These days condition of Punjab has become worse. Khalistani terrorists are taking their roots. Crime is increasing in the state. What is your opinion?

The people of Punjab have given a chance to Aam Aadmi Party due to corruption of the Congress Party and Akali Dal in Punjab. The people of Punjab came under the sweet and false talk of Arvind Kejriwal.  BJP  in Punjab is not as extended as in the rest of India. During the campaigning for Punjab elections also things came in which the people of the Aam Aadmi Party were collecting donations from the supporters of Khalistani Organizations. Now after the formation of the government of AAP in Punjab. Now the government has started working for benefits Khalistanis Groups. In this context, Kumar Vishwas has made many revelations in the past. On one hand, the country is celebrating the 75th anniversary of independence. On the other hand, in Punjab,  Aam Aadmi Party is doing the politics of appeasement.

It is the ground reality that the Central Government has fulfilled the expectations of every section of the people during the last eight years. Then why some people running propaganda against the government?

The number of such people in the country is negligible. These people are yearning for power. In our country, in the earlier governments, only a few people benefited, who used to broker those governments. The family which was responsible for the partition of the country, only those who used to praise that family would develop. Such people have now lost the support of the general public. That’s why these people are spreading lies against the government by not showing the good works of the government.

Now let’s talk about Delhi. Delhi government ministers and MLAs have been going to jail on serious charges in the past too. Now Satyendra Jain has also been accused of corruption. What are your thoughts on this?

Satyendra Jain was earning money through hawala, ED had received his complaint, so action was taken against Satyendra Jain. He has been accused of a scam of 200 crores. There has also been an allegation of grabbing 16 crores instead of this. The ED has taken action with full solid evidence. I want to say, Arvind Kejriwal is also involved in this scam. Arvind Kejriwal had said that corruption is sedition. And for the past several days, Arvind Kejriwal is tolerating this sedition done by Satyendra Jain. Kejriwal is not asking for Satyendra Jain’s resignation. As soon as Satyendra Jain’s resignation is sought, Satyendar Jain will make many important revelations, which Arvind Kejriwal fears.

The case of the alleged Gyanvapi mosque is also in the headlines at this time. There is a danger to the life of the judge who delivered the verdict in this case and the people of BJP who speak out loud on this subject. How do you see this?

This is not just a matter related to BJP. This is an issue of faith for the 125 crore people of the country. Islamic forces built mosques by destroying the temples of India. These cruel-minded people who came to India in the form of Mughals worked for the destruction of Indianness. This issue related to Shri Ram Janmabhoomi, Shri Krishna Janmabhoomi has been raised from time to time for the last several years. This struggle of the people of the Hindu religion has been going on for the last 550 years. The earlier governments could not take steps on these important subjects due to the politics of appeasement. Now the courts are also giving their verdict fearlessly. The country will run based on the constitution and evidence. This theme is a symbol of the faith of the people of the country. Which the people of BJP have vocally raised.

Now I want to talk about Jammu and Kashmir. There the central government said that terrorism has been wiped out. But the incidents of target killing have increased in the last few days. What you want to say on this matter?

People of the Hindu community have indeed been murdered in Jammu and Kashmir for some time now. In response to this, the army has also taken a strong step and a large number of terrorists have been killed. Some political parties of India are defying the government by not supporting the government regarding these incidents. Such people are not directly criticizing terrorists. The Islamic terrorists who carried out terrorist incidents in Jammu and Kashmir also feel that some people in India have stood with them. The Home Minister of the country is directly watching the situation in Jammu and Kashmir and the army is taking action in this direction. So far 20 Islamic terrorists have been killed.
