Miscreants vandalised the Trishul and other temple property, broke the DaanPatra and took away money and valuables belonging to the temple. Local people on Wednesday morning saw it and informed the police. Later, the devotees reinstated the Shiva idol and Shiva Linga. A police team led by DCP Sudhakar Singh visited the temple and said this was an act of hurting the sentiments of people. We will thoroughly investigate the matter, and culprits will be brought to the law soon, Singh said.

The miscreants also vandalised another nearby Lord Ganesha temple. The Lord Ganesha idol was also thrown out of the temple. Local and devotees demanded strict action against the culprits.
