Take a look at the Indian squad going to represent India in 2022 Commonwealth Games

CWG 2022 will see cricket's second appearance. The first time was a men's 50-over tournament in Kuala Lumpur in 1998, but the women's T20I format will be played for the first time in CWG 2022.

New Delhi [India]: India’s Olympic medallist wrestlers Ravi Dahiya and Bajrang Punia were among six wrestlers selected for the 2022 Commonwealth Games in the selection trials for the senior freestyle wrestling held here at the IGI Stadium on Tuesday.

Ravi Dahiya (57 kg), Bajrang Punia (65 kg), Naveen (74 kg), Deepak Punia (86 kg), Deepak (97 kg) and Mohit Dahiya (125 kg) were selected during the trials to represent the country at the event.
The Commonwealth Games 2022 will be held in Birmingham, UK from July 28 to August 8.

Talking about Indian women’s squad, wrestlers Pooja Gehlot (50 Kg), Vinesh Phogat (53 Kg), Anshu Malik (57 Kg), Sakshi Malik (62 Kg), Divya Kakran (68 Kg) and Pooja Dhanda (76 Kg) have been selected to represent India at Commonwealth Games 2022.

CWG 2022 will see cricket’s second appearance. The first time was a men’s 50-over tournament in Kuala Lumpur in 1998, but the women’s T20I format will be played for the first time in CWG 2022.  The hosts England, Australia, New Zealand, India, Pakistan, South Africa, Barbados and Sri Lanka will be involved in an eight-team match.
