Biki Ali made an intimate video with the minor victim and started blackmailing her. He took the minor girl to a hotel room, promising to delete the video, on 16th and 19th February, and raped her several times with his 4 friends Faijul Ali, Puna Ali, Pinku Ali and Raja Ali.

Guwahati: A prime accused in the gang-rape of a minor girl, Biki Ali, was killed in a midnight police encounter on Tuesday (March 15) while trying to escape from custody in Guwahati.

He was being taken to the crime scene for further investigation when the accused Biki Ali reportedly attacked lady police personnel accompanying him and attempted to flee on Tuesday night, city police sources said.

Police then opened fire at him, and rapist Biki Ali sustained four bullet injuries. The injured accused was taken to the Gauhati Medical College Hospital (GMCH), where he was declared dead. GMCH Superintendent Abhijit Sharma said he was brought to the hospital around 1 am, and there were four bullet injuries in his body.

Two women personnel of Panbazar women police station were also injured in the attack by the killed rapist but were out of danger.

Biki Ali was absconding since the mother of the victim minor girl, filed a complaint with the police on March 8. He was arrested on Tuesday from the Dampur area in Kamrup district near Guwahati.

Biki Ali and 4 of his friends in the Jalukbari area at the outskirts of Guwahati city raped a 15-year-old minor several times. The main culprit, Biki Ali, who was the victim's boyfriend, made a video of their intimate time. Then the rapist Biki Ali started blackmailing the victim. He threatened to make the video viral if she didn't agree to his demands. The rapist Biki Ali took the minor girl to a hotel room, promising to delete the video, on 16th and 19th February, and raped her several times with his four friends, Faijul Ali, Puna Ali, Pinku Ali and Raja Ali. After the gang rape in the hotel room, rapist Biki Ali raped the girl several times at his house. The younger brother of the victim girl came to know about the heinous crime on March 8, and the shocked family of the victim girl registered a case against the five rapists in the women police station in Guwahati. The other four rapists are now absconding, and police are searching for them.
