The JNU unit of Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad has put a poignant exhibition in front of the JNU student community on the massacre and the exodus of Kashmiri Hindus in Kashmir in the year 1990.
The horrific incident was brought to the notice of the JNU students' community by organizing a mass dialogue program related to the subject. It was explained in detail by Ayushi Ketkar, assistant professor at the Special Centre for National Security Studies.
ABVP JNU President Shivam Chaurasia said, "The incident of Hindu exodus from the universities was systematically excluded from the academic world."
Unit Secretary Rohit Kumar said that "through such programmes, the Vidyarthi Parishad is trying to establish a discourse on the Exodus of Kashmiri Hindus."
