Jeopardising National Security for Hindu Hatred

In the process, the Government of the day had engineered facts, vitiated the legally-established institutional mechanism  to ensure that their narrative gets validated and propagated…The so-called 'secular' narrative attempted to be propagated between 2004-2013 had the potential to tear India's social fabric to shreds. In order to reap political benefits, one religious section was projected as overbearing bullies and blamed for certain unfortunate occurrences" – RVS Mani, Hindu Terror, Insider account of Ministry of Home Affairs 2006-2010, Vitasta Publication, New Delhi, 2018

In a Malegaon Blast case of 2008, another witness alleged in the NIA court that the then Anti-Terrorism Squad (ATS) of Maharashtra had tortured him to take the names of specific leaders associated with the Hindutva movement, including that of Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath. Though Rahul Gandhi has cleverly started claiming to be a true Hindu and demonising Hindutva, the fact remains that when the Hindu Terror narrative was constructed, Gandhi scion and his party was the main conspirator. Hatred for Hindus in the name of secularism is a foregone conclusion with the Congress party. Still, another debunking of the 'Hindu Terror' narrative raises more profound questions about the party's mindset on democracy, human rights, and national security.

Bharat witnessed a series of terror attacks, sponsored mainly by Pakistan, under the Sonia-Gandhi-led United Progressive Alliance (UPA) regime. Especially from July 2005 Jaipur train bombings till Mumbai terror attack of 26/11, there were series of incidences pointing fingers towards Jihadi networks working at the behest of Pakistan. The Students Islamic Movement of India (SIMI) was the primary support system for the terror groups to activate sleeper cells. The Government was under pressure to take some retributive action. Instead of strengthening the intelligence, diplomatic and military options, the UPA Government chose to find a new target called Hindu Terror. As per the detailed account of RVS Mani from his experience in the Home Ministry, since May 2006 Nanded case, a systematic attempt was made to build this theory. Through this deadly policy option, the Congress-led Government did three-fold debauchery.

Firstly, Congress tried to sort out the political opposition, including the then Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi, Home Minister Amit Shah and Gorakhpur Member of Parliament Yogi Adityanath. In a democracy, you have every right to fight elections in the court of people but using entire machinery to target political opposition is a murder of democracy.

In all these terror attacks, many innocent people lost their lives. Through political interference in cases of magnitude like Malegaon, Samjhauta and Ajmer Blasts etc., the then Government circumvented the Constitutional responsibility of giving Justice to those people. By presenting fake witnesses and torturing them to toe the Government line, Congress murdered the basic principles of Justice.

The biggest delinquency in this entire process is jeopardising national security. The core issue was mitigating terrorism and not finding the religious colour of the same. As per the world data on terrorism, more than fifty major terror organisations were killing people or indulging in what they believed as 'Jihad' in the name of Islam. Still, they call it Islamic terrorism or Jihadi terrorism, considered politically incorrect. But, the Congress regime in Bharat chose to designate the Hindu Community, which has been the victim of the idea of Pakistan based on religious exclusion, as terrorists. In the process, the actual terror groups were set free. Due to this diluted position on Pak-Sponsored terrorism, the then Government of Bharat could not give what a Congress leader accepted 'a kinetic response in the days following India's 9/11'. Instead, another Congress leader Digvijay Singh took pride in linking the Mumbai Terror attacks of 26/11 to the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh while releasing a book on the same subject.

People of Bharat have given their verdict against this conspiracy in 2014 and 2019. If Rahul Gandhi continues to play with the divisive game, the grand old party will surely fulfill the wish of Mahatma Gandhiji – dissolution of the Congress.
