Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao, who is also known as KCR, is also the president of the ruling Telangana Rashtra Samiti (TRS).

Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao, on Sunday (November 7) threatened Telangana BJP Chief Bandi Sanjay and other BJP leaders to ‘cut their tongues’. Addressing a press conference on Sunday (November 7), KCR also threatened the Telangana Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leaders with dire consequences.

He has been the chief minister of Telangana since the state was formed in June 2014. The Telangana Rashtra Samiti (TRS) has the strength of 103 in the assembly of 119. In the just-concluded Huzurabad by-poll in Telangana, BJP’s Eatala Rajender defeated Telangana Rashtra Samiti’s (TRS) Gellu Srinivas Yadav. In November last year, Dubbaka by-poll also, the BJP had defeated the TRS.

Although the assembly polls in Telangana are due in 2023, the recent setbacks have rattled KCR. He also accused the Union government of playing politics over the paddy procurement issue.

KCR also insulted the brave jawans by saying no action has been taken against Chinese aggressiveness in Arunachal Pradesh and Ladakh.

The Bharatiya Janata Party Telangana president Bandi Sanjay strongly condemned Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao’s statement, insulting the Indian Armed Forces and speaking seditiously, favouring an enemy nation over a border issue. NV Subhash, BJP leader from Telangana, criticised KCR for his petty politics and dishonouring the memory of a martyr-like late Colonel B. Santosh Babu of the 16 Bihar Regiment, who had sacrificed his life in protecting the sovereign Indian borders at Galwan.

Colonel B Santosh Babu of Telangana made the supreme sacrifice for the country in Galwan on June 15 last year.

“KCR must unconditionally apologise to the Indian Army and its every single serving personnel and retired veterans. If he does not do so, the BJP will punish KCR for his unacceptable and unbecoming words and every single patriotic Indian will ensure he is punished”, said NV Subhash.

He added, “Let KCR never forget that he sleeps peacefully because our brave hearts guard our borders 24×7 and only a sick mind will insult such heroes. No nation can stand such treason. The BJP certainly won’t.”
