The Vice-Chancellor of The Central University of Kerala (CUK) approved the circular that was issued to the faculty members and employees on their lectures/statements.
The Central University of Kerala (CUK) has issued a circular asking its employees, barring them from giving any kind of provocative lectures in class or antinational statements.
Issuing a circular on August 30, CUK said, “The faculty members/employees should abstain from giving any type of provoking lectures/statements that are antinational and will be against the interest of the nation. Strict disciplinary action will be taken against those who indulge in such activities in the future.”
The circular was issued with the approval of the Vice-Chancellor, it read. Earlier, an assistant professor of CUK was suspended for giving antinational statements while taking an online class on “Fascism and Nazism” in April.
