The Vishva Hindu Parishad will be organising many programmes in India and abroad in the run-up to its foundation day on August 30 to honour people for the Nidhi Samarpan for the Ram Temple in Ayodhya.
The Vishva Hindu Parishad will be organising many programmes in India and abroad from August 22-30 to honour people for donating money to construct the Ram Temple in Ayodhya.
The VHP will be celebrating its foundation day on August 30, which is also the day of Janmashtami. The VHP was founded on the day of Janmashtami in 1964.
Different programmes will be organised at over 5 lakh places in the country from August 22-30. Many programmes will be organised in foreign countries too to spread the message.
Surendra Jain, joint general secretary of the VHP, said that through these programmes, the organisation would tell people about the works of the VHP and make them aware of the challenges the Hindu society is facing.
The VHP ran a campaign from January 15-February 27 this year for Nidhi Samarpan to construct a grand Ram Temple in Ayodhya.
About 65 crore people were associated with the campaign, and about 6000 crore rupees were donated.
