Based on the information of two former Naxalites, the security forces have recovered ten lakh rupees from the hideout.

In the operation launched in the forests of Kawardha (Kabirdham district of Chhattisgarh), the DRG team has recovered a huge amount of ammunition from the spot. The police team has also got medicines and solar panels along with the equipment used in their camp. Naxalite literature and banners have also been recovered from the spot.
Kawardha SSP Salabh Kumar said that this operation was carried out on the information of Diwakar (Kishan) and Devi(Lakshmi), both of them were former Naxalites commanders who had surrendered leaving the Maoist ideology only last month. Both the former Naxalites have decided to make a new beginning by joining the mainstream and, they will be given all possible assistance from government schemes from the administration, said Kawardha SP. According to the information received, search operations are still being conducted in Kawardha and its surrounding areas so that more such places can be raided.
In other news, the top Naxal commander Haribhushan (Yapa Narayanan) popularly known as Lakmu Dada, died due to Covid. Bastar’s IG P. Sundarajan said that for the last few days, there have been reports that some Naxalites are seriously ill because of covid. According to the information received, among them was Haribhushan, who died on June 21. Haribhushan was carrying a reward of 40 lakhs and was also the secretary of the Telangana state committee.
He died somewhere in the forest of Bijapur near the border of Chhattisgarh and Telangana, confirmed by police sources. Given the current state of the Corona outbreak in Maoist territories, it’s safe to assume that this global epidemic has also infected Naxalites living in remote forest camps. If sources are to be believed, many Naxalites including, Madavi Hidma, are seriously ill with Corona. Hidma, a notorious terrorist, who is believed to be the mastermind of the Bijapur Naxalite attack, is a member of the Dandakaranya Zonal Committee.
He has been the architect of many attacks on security forces in the Bastar region. If reliable sources are to be believed, many more Naxalites are also suffering from Corona including, Hidma. Most of them are recruits from common tribal groups. In the dense forests of Dandakaranya, the news of discrimination being done in the treatment of these sick Naxalites has been doing the rounds recently. However, it is very natural to hear such news from an organization misled by a hollow ideology that calls for social equality.
Even though this organization of red terrorists cloaks socialism, in reality, it is full of venom of Chinese authoritarianism, in which there is a place for people in high positions but not for the common one. These people who believe in changing the democratic system based on violence,  have decorated the dream of putting the totalitarian system in power. They have always exploited the innocent people of the tribal society. Perhaps this is the reason the corona-infected recruits of the tribal group have been left on their own. The youth of the tribal group has to understand that such people who leave them to die in such dire circumstances are not their own, but are just using them to strengthen the marginalized organization.
