The US President Joe Biden Wednesday asked the Intelligence Community to investigate the origin of the Covid-19 amid the growing call and evidence that the virus leaked from the Wuhan lab in China.

The statement read the US president has “asked the Intelligence Community to redouble their efforts to collect and analyze information that could bring us closer to a definitive conclusion”.

The President has asked to prepare the report in 90 days.

The statement added “As part of that report, I have asked for areas of further inquiry that may be required, including specific questions for China.”

China is again at the centre as many believe the virus escaped from the Wuhan Institute of Virology in China.

The statement from the President read “The United States will also keep working with like-minded partners around the world to press China to participate in a full, transparent, evidence-based international investigation and to provide access to all relevant data and evidence.”

Dr. Anthony Fauci, Chief Medical Advisor to the US President and leading infectious diseases expert, recently called for an investigation into the origin of the Covid-19 virus.
