In Jammu and Kashmir, two terrorists were killed in an encounter with security forces yesterday. Incident took place at Gosia Colony in Nathipora in Sopore town of Baramulla district. One AK and one INSAS rifles were recovered from the possession of the slain terrorists.
The encounter broke out after a joint team of Rashtriya Rifles, Jammu and Kashmir Police and CRPF launched a cordon and search operation following intelligence input about the presence of terrorists in the area. The terrorist opened fire on security forces which resulted in gunfight and killing of two terrorists.
