PSLV-C51 launches Brazil’s Amazonia-1, 18 other satellites; Prime Minister Narendra Modi congratulates ISRO

The Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) from Sriharikota in Andhra Pradesh on Sunday launched the first mission of the year 2021. Let us tell you that 19 satellites have been sent into space by India’s Polar Satellite Launch Vehicle (PSLV).
 
Significantly, ISRO launched 19 satellites simultaneously through PSLV-C51 from Sriharikota. The PSLV-C51 was launched with a launch pad at 10.24 am. The rocket also includes the 637 kg Brazilian satellite Amazonia-1. Would like to say that this satellite will analyze the agricultural diversity of Brazil. Simultaneously, this satellite will strengthen the existing framework of forest monitoring in the Amazon areas. Earlier, the PSLV C-51 launch was also rehearsed.
 
Amazonia-1 Satellite
 
The total weight of the Amazonia-1 satellite is 637 kg. It is injected into a 772-km Suryalakali polar orbit with an inclination of 98.4 degrees. It has a wide film images camera in the form of load, its swath is 850 kilometres, and the resolution is 60 meters. The satellite also has two solar panels, which will be used to charge lithium-ion batteries. Hydrogen has been used as fuel in the Amazonia-1 satellite. Its life span is designed to be more than four years.
 
So far, 342 satellites from 34 countries have been launched with PSLV.
 
This was ISRO’s first successful launch mission of 2021. At the same time, this is the 78th launch rocket mission from the Satish Dhawan Space Research Center. This was the 53rd flight of PSLV. Today, with the launch of this rocket, India’s total number of foreign satellites has increased to 342. Through this, foreign satellites of 34 countries have been successfully launched so far. This is the third flight of DL type of PSLV. This was the first dedicated PSLV commercial mission for the Ensil company.

The countdown for PSLV-C 51/Amazonia-1 mission started at 54 minutes past eight of the clock. PSLV-C51 is the 53rd mission of PSLV.
