Under the guidelines of Unlock 4.0 by MHA, the schools would be allowed to open for 50 per cent staff for teaching and non-teaching staff. Students from classes 9th to 12th will be allowed to go to school to take guidance from teachers. However, that will be entirely their own choice. For this, parents/guardians have to give written consent.
MoHFw has further stated that schools must ensure that online classes and virtual sessions continue through the period and are encouraged.
- Only schools outside containment zones will reopen, and only those staff members and students, who live outside containment zones, will be allowed to attend the schools.
- Physical distancing is mandatory to maintain, frequent hand washing and self-monitoring of health, reporting of any illness to be followed.
