Standing Exposed!

Apropos (Pakistan is Exposed but not Out!) Organiser, July 28, 2019, the terror state of Pakistan stands fully exposed standing stark naked among the comity of nations. From hiding Osama bin Laden right under its nose at its Abbattobad army barracks to protecting his acolytes Ayman al-Zawahiri and his likes, Maulana Masood Azhar and Hafiz Saeed, the rogue state has been scrupulously perpetuating its state policy of perfidy, dishonesty and subterfuge. Its economy tottering on the brink of bankruptcy, the self-styled protector of the Islamic world is shamelessly going around the world with a begging bowl in hand. Finally, the military dictators who once denounced Uncle Sam as evil have shamelessly been on their knees sucking up to Donald Trump for financial and military aid. Where is the Pakistani pride gone now?

Justice for Jadhav

APROPOS (Double Expose) Organiser, July 28, 2019, the much-awaited verdict by International Court of Justice on Kulbushan Jadhav came as a body blow to Pakistan. Voted overwhelmingly 15-1 with a lone Pakistani vote, Pakistan splurged close to 20 million rupees, on its Britain-based barrister, whereas Indian advocate Harish Salve fought Jadhav’s case single-handedly for a nominal Re 1, which says a lot about the moral right and faith Bharat has reposed in its son, Jadhav.

Lesson from Kargil
APROPOS (How Prepared are We?), Organiser July 28, 2019, if Pakistan can dare to engage in the short war like Kargil right after huge peace initiative by the then Prime Minister Shri Atal Behari Vajpayee, then nothing can seriously stop our hostile neighbour in indulging in any misadventure again. Yes, things have changed drastically in the last two decades and our military capabilities have improved significantly, but so is the proximity of Pakistan to China, which has become an all-weather friend to Pakistan. We cannot just hope that situation will not come to that level rather we need to prepare ourselves for any eventuality and we should continue to improve on our military capabilities and provide our soldiers with the latest technology arms and ammunition. Because, it is easy to quantify the tangible cost of the war, but not the intangibles ones, which are far too many to be ignored.

Owaisi revives Memories of Qasim Razvi

during the debate on NIA Amendment Bill in Lok Sabha on July 15, the AIMIM MP Asaduddin Owaisi alleged that the amended Act would be used against the minorities. There were spirited replies to this allegation. MoS Home Affairs Kishen Reddy recalled Owaisi’s brother, Akbaruddin Owaisi’s bravado that “if the police did not interfere for 5 minutes, the Hindus in India would be taught an unforgettable lesson”. Home Minister Amit Shah observed: “I am not threatening but if you have fear in your heart what can I do”. This is in reply to Owaisi’s saying “don’t threaten me by raising your finger”. This interaction makes us recall a similar discussion between Sardar Patel and Qasim Razvi, the chief of notorious Razakars in erstwhile Nizam’s state in November 1947. Owaisi should realise that Bharat is not like pre-1947 India, which was a hostage to Muslim violence.

Population Control

APROPOS (What India seeks on World Population Day), Organiser, July 21, 2019 the article draws attention to the serious problem of population growth. The suggestion to observe the second Sunday of every month as ‘Population Control Day’ is good. It should be considered by both the govts and NGOs working in this field. China, though having a very authoritarian govt, has switched back to ‘Ham Do, Hamare Do’ norm, though after an eye-opening experience of one family one-child policy. We need strict norms for population control in the country.

Attack on Temple

APROPOS (Perils of Minoritarianism), Organiser, July 14, 2019, I was surprised to read that Durga Temple in Chandni Chawk was attacked by Muslims. It is regrettable that the Indian media kept mum on the issue. Muslims are living in the age of Ghzhnavis and Ghauris when temples were demolished. Some years ago, I went to Mathura. I went to the Temple where Shri Krishna was born. After the Puja when I came out, I saw a mosque over the roof of the temple. Muslims have got Pakistan. If they demolish our temples, they should be sent
to Pakistan.
