NIA raids in TN have revealed a new terror outfit  ‘Ansarullah’ which wants to establish rule of Islam in Bharat

Worst fears have come true with the NIA unearthing a new Terror outfit, called “Ansarullah”, in Tamil Nadu which had an agenda to set up Islamic rule in Bharath and also conspired to carry out nationwide terror acts. It has once again proved that TN has become a paradise or heaven for Terrorists, anti-national forces which have a free run in the state.

Organiser has been regularly covering terror modules functioning in Tamil Nadu, caste outfits, anti- nationals aided by foreign funds. Fervent appeals were made to both Tamil Nadu and Central governments to act sternly before it goes out of hands to avoid Kashmir and West Bengal like situation.

After the Sri Lanka Church blasts that killed over 250 people, NIA has been making searches and arrests all across Tamil Nadu . On June 12th this year, the National Investigation Agency (NIA) with intelligence inputs received from Sri Lankan counter parts, carried out extensive raids at seven places in Coimbatore. It had arrested Mohammed Azarudeen, the alleged mastermind of ISIS Tamil Nadu module who was a Facebook friend of Sri Lankan suicide bomber Zahran Hashim, a 32-year-old Mohammed Azarudeen, Shiek Hidayathullah Y, Mohammed Hussain A. Shajahan and Sheik Safiullah (all supporters of Zahran Hashim) were booked under Sections 18, 38 and 39 of the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act (UAPA), 1967.

Close on the raids and information gained from the arrested persons, NIA on 13th July has conducted raids at Linghi Chetty Street in Mannady and some houses at Veprey near Kellys in Chennai. Simultaneous raids were conducted at Nagapattinam Sikkal and Manjakollai. The NIA arrested Syed Bukhari from Chennai, Hassan Ali Yunus Maricar and Yusuffudeen Harish Mohammed from Nagapattinam for conspiracy and collecting funds for a terrorist organisation among other charges. Of them, Syed Bukhari was taken to Kerala for further inquiry.

During the course of the investigation, NIA learned that a new terror outfit called ‘Ansarulla’ is functioning in TN. “There was credible information that the accused persons, while being within and beyond India, had conspired and conducted consequent preparations to wage war against India by forming the terrorist gang, Ansarulla. The accused persons and their associates had collected information to carry out terrorist attacks in India. Their agenda is to establish “Islamic rule in India” the NIA stated in its release.

NIA Press Release

The arrested Bukhari was the state president of Wahdat-e-Islami Hind. It is an Islamic outfit registered in Uttar Pradesh in 2006 as a charitable social trust. It has its offices in TN since 2009. During the raids, NIA recovered nine mobile phones, 15 SIM cards, three laptops, five hard drives, six pen drives, two tablets and three CDs along with some magazines, posters, books and banners.

However Wahdat-e-Islamic Hind has denied having any knowledge of Ansarulla. “We have been creating awareness against liquor consumption, prostitution and borrowing loans for interest….these are all attempts to suppress Islamic activities and to isolate us from the society”, it said.
