Now Mamata Bannerjee wants that the ‘PM’s name should be out from all the Project names. She has directed the officials to name the projects as Bangla Sadak Yojna, Bangla Awas Yojna, Bangla Fasal Bima Yojna, etc.
“It seems that the whole of South 24 Parganas District has become a ‘cottage industry’ for production of arms and ammunition,” said Mamata Banerjee, Chief Minister of West Bengal, as if she did not know anything about this. She did not mention any project but she was referring to Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojna, Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojna, etc. She has directed the state officials to release advertisements naming the projects Bangla Sadak Yojna, Bangla Awas Yojna and Bangla Fasal Bima Yojna, etc. All these projects come to the fore after BJP’s reverses in three assembly polls held recently. Mamata said she would not allow the BJP government at the Centre to take undue advantage of the situation.
