Ever since the present  LDF government has come to power in Kerala  16 RSS workers have fallen victim to the murder politics unleashed by the Red-jihadis

T Satisan

One more young RSS worker, Anand (26), has fallen victim to the Red-Jihadi criminal nexus in Guruvayoor, Thrissur district. On November 12, his bike was hit by a car when he and his friend Vishnu were travelling. As the two fell down, killers came out from the car and hacked them. The injured Vishnu ran away, but, Anand was hacked to death. This is the third murder in the district since the Pinarayi Vijayan’s LDF government took over on May 25, 2016 and the 16th in the whole state in the same period.
Obviously, it is reported that the car driven by the killers belonged to the brother of Fasal, who was killed in a political clash in 2013.
The RSS workers said  Anand’s name was included in the list of the accused without any basis.
BJP state president Kummanam Rajasekhran said that CPM was behind the attack. Red terror bloodshed continues in Kerala. He said the BJP has lost 120 workers in Kerala, 84 in Kannur district alone since 2001.
Obviously, the time of the murder coincides with two important mega programmes of RSS-inspired  movements. Sevasangamam, the conclave of more than 2000 workers of the seva projects, going on in Guruvayoor. It was inaugurated by RSS Sarkaryavah Bhayyaji Joshi. The temple town of Guruvayoor was  saffron clad in this connection. Hundreds of houses provided food and accommodation for the participants. Sangh workers had conducted a Swatch Guruvayoor there last week and cleaned the temple town. The progammes gave a strong boost to the Sangh oriented activities in the coastal area of Thrissur which Guruvayoor belongs to.  Second, the ABVP national rally in which around  one lakh students from all states of Bharat took part.
The rally against the murder politics of CPM was another morale booster for the nationalist forces in the state. Obviously, the murder of Anand was a carefully orchestrated action intended to eclipse the glow of
the mega programmes.
At the same time, political observers believe that this murder is the result of a Red-Jihad nexus. Recently, a lot of extremist activities were unearthed in the state. Therefore, this nexus is live in the state. But, LDF regime does not appear to be taking a strong stand against the Jihadi forces.
The people of Kerala are fed up with the criminal politics of CPM. As the Congress and its ally, the  UDF, are in a bad shape , especially after the Solar Commission report, people have been pinning their hope on BJP for a peaceful atmosphere in the state.                                       n
