Samajwadi party Chief Mulayam Singh Yadav’s demand to prohibit speaking in English by some Member of the Parliament in its session is totally irrelevant. He might have forgotten that even after lapse of 66 years of Independence our Mera Bharat Mahan does not have its own national language and national religion like other notions. General impression and wrong notions are being created that Hindi is a national language which is far from the truth as it has no constitutional status. When Pt Nehru was PM since then three language formula has been accepted by the GoI viz Hindi is an official language, English is a link language and third one is regional language. Instead of making unnecessary irrational and irrelevant demand Malayam Singh should bring pressure on his friendly Congress led UPA Government at the Centre for declaring Hindi as national language by amending the Constitution accordingly. He should bear in the mind that as long as three language formula is in force the Members of the Parliament have got full right to speak in either of three languages as stated in the formula. Hence his demand deserve to be rejected.

Media to reset its moral compass (Organiser, 17.11.2013); ‘Narad’s’ remark in Organiser dated 17.11.2013 that “All that the Hindus had claimed was just one freedom to build a temple of Sri Ram on the site where he was reportedly born”. Why is ‘Narad’ pleading? Is he not a Bharatiya? Don’t we Hindus have the prerogative and freedom to give a befitting structure for us to install, worship and venerate this Avatarapurusha in our motherland? Do we have to seek the permission of Muslims? ‘Narad’ continues “May I hope and pray that they will change their minds etc. etc.” Who wants Hindus-Muslim unity? The so-called secularists?—Not unity but votes that is the reason why they too are not keen about building a temple so that they can rule again and destroy what little is left of Hindutva. This idea of appeasement of Muslims has been stretched to a breaking point. Don’t forget that our neighbour is dangerous and unstable and their own country is being torn apart by jihadist violence. No amount of healing or peaceful talks will lessen the threat looming over us. Our own home grown terrorism is gaining strength day by day for the Muslims of Bharat have joined hands with fundamentalists unleashing terror and disrupting the even tenor of our lives. If this state of affairs continue in Bharat we will fall a prey to a religion which wrongly thinks that their God has given them the sword to rout out Hindutva. Are we building a temple in Pakistan? This is our motherland and we have every right to build a temple for the one who was born with the sacred mission of Dushtashikshaka and Shishtarakshaka. Hindus should shape their own destiny and protect the unique way of life that Hindutava teaches.

Illegal occupation of land by madrasas This refers to some Muslim scholars and NGOs objecting to the order of the Collector of Chittoor for demolition of unauthorised construction by a Muslim organisation (Metro India dt. 26.11.13). There is a signboard which clearly says that the building is for an International Islamic College and Women’s Arabic College. These organisations have violated the law by constructing something which is not authorised and now they say that since there are so many unauthorised buildings which are not orderd to be demolished, they would not allow the demolition of what they constructed illegally. That means, they are defying the law of the land. They are self-declared law-breakers and they are glorying in that. The website which advertises these Islamic institutions shows Balaji and Tirumala temples. These will indicate to the International Islamist movement that the Indian Islamic movement is strong enough to plant any Islamist institution even in the most sacred Hindu places just as Babur’s General Mir Baqi planted a mosque in Ayodhya at a place believed for thousands of years to be the birth place of Sri Ram. Why could not this institution be located in the old city of Hyderabad and why only in a place which lies within the sacred area around Lord Venkateswara’s and so many other temples in Tirupati?

Why the PM should not skip CHOGM in Colombo (Organiser, 17.11.2013); This refers to ‘Why the PM should not skip chogm in Colombo’ by Seshadri Chari in Organiser. He has pleaded that “State level concern should not determine the foreign policy and if the PM skips this meeting, it means we are pushing Sri Lanka towards Pakistan and China.” It is shameful for India, that USA and European countries are taking more and keen interest in the Human Rights of Tamils in Sri Lanka, but India has miserably failed to do its legitimate duty of protecting the life and rights of Tamils in Sri Lanka. Sinhalese Government of Sri Lanka never gave equal rights to the Tamils, and indulged in mass slaughter of innocent Tamil civilians and rape of Tamil women. It is certainly not the responsibility of India to ensure united Sri Lanka on the dead bodies of Tamils. Tamil Nadu is as much part of India as any other State, and their concerns are India’s concern. And lastly, it may be added , that just like anti-Hindu Congress rulers in India, the Sinhalese Government in Sri Lanka is anti-Hindu Tamils, but is very favourable with Muslim Tamils of Sri Lanka.
