ON the occasion of 150th birth anniversary celebration of Swami Vivekananda, Deendayal Research Institute (DRI) organised a two day national conference on the theme of ‘Swami Vivekanand Ji ke Sapno Ka Bharat’ at Udyamita Vidyapeeth, Chitrakoot from February 11to 12.

Renowned intellectuals and vice chancellors from all over the country enlightened the conference with their valued views on Relevance of Philosophy of Swamiji on Religion, Culture, Development, Women, Youth, Village and Universal Harmony in modern perspectives.

An exhibition on Swami Vivekananda was inaugurated by Director of Vivekananda International Foundation Shri Ajit Doval. Senior Pracharak Shri Madhubhai Kulkarni and renowned thinker Shri KN Govindacharya delivered their thoughts on the occasion. General secretary of DRI Dr Bharat Pathak, organising secretary Shri Abhay Mahajan, Member of Parliament Shri Ganesh Singh and delegates from Hungary Miss Julia Hulsan and Miss Ranca Palfalki also spoke on the life of Swami Vivekananda.

Other prominent people who spoke on the occasion included Vice Chanceller’s Dr VS Tomar (JNKV), Prof ADN Bajpai (Himachal Pradesh University),  Prof B Pandey (JRHU), Prof KB Pandey (MGCGV), Prof Mohanlal Cheepa (ABBHU), Dr Ashok Kumar (AKS), Prof.BK Kuthiyala (MCNJTU), Prof PN Mishra (DABU), Prof  CK Ghosh (IGNOU),  Dr Govind Prasad Mishra (NDPCVU), Prof  Mithila Prasad Tripathi (MPSV), Dr DP Lokwani (MPMU), Dr UK Mishra (Kamdhenu University), Prof T Karunakaran (MGIRI), Dr Awadh Dubey, Dr Kanti Rawat and Prof GS Murtee.                                              (FOC)
